The first room smelled like skunk. The same smell was outside. The location was not desirable.

Dirty, dingy and unsafe. Poor lighting and garbage everywhere on the property.

The listing said it had a pool and breakfast. They lied. The pool is no longer workkng and they lied about breakfast. The room was atrocious. The bathroom door was all messed up to wear you couldn't even lock it and would not even shut. The upgraded room didnt have anything special. This was a terrible experience. They mislead us om the ammenities

I stayed only a few hours as I was a late check and left at checkout, but it was comfortable.

Its very Clean & quiet here. U can get good rest & Police Patrols property frequently & that makes me feel very Safe. I Would definitely recommend to others.

It met my needs for the time I spent in Alabama.

Dirty room and hallway

The pet friendly policy was generous, front desk staff were very friendly, reasonably clean room but a bit outdated and worn. Smelled a bit funky in the room. Ac worked well but bed was not very comfortable. Very thin small pillows.

Reception was very nice but I had a hard time understanding her accent. I'm usually pretty good at that. You had to go through to the back entrance to get to the elevator. Then I had to drag everything around to the front of the building where my room was. I was on the third floor. The single I've machine was on the second floor. I gave up and went up and down the stairs to the front parking lot. Not so easy for a 70 year old. They told me I could "upgrade" to the bottom floor. Room was clean.

Great spot for a night stop in. The area was sketchier than expected after dark.

While the building looks a little rough, the rooms were clearly redone recently and ours was clean and comfy. Shower was clean but on the small side. The bed was comfortable enough, with bright white and new-ish linens. I wish there was breakfast! The A/C didn't work right but we eventually got it to work by setting the thermostat really low, and the (large and expensive) TV didn't really work either, showing all colors garbled. We will keep choosing Red Roof Inns due to the pet policy, but would hope for better luck with a functional room next time.
