Had a very disappointing experience at Azure Sea Resort after traveling all the way from the USA with two young kids. The room given to us was in poor condition and completely unsuitable for a family. When we raised our concerns, the staff mentioned a possible refund but said the owner wasn’t available to make any decisions — as if a refund would help after such a long journey. We were left standing at reception, exhausted and frustrated, for over an hour with no real solution offered. Only after a heated exchange were we finally given a different room. The entire experience was stressful, poorly managed, and far from what you’d expect from a resort. We would not recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a smooth and relaxing holiday.

Look forward to staying again but the Raintree hill is a killer!

Great property, the apartments and view are gorgeous

Nice, spacious apartments with large balconies and pool area as well as a lovely view on the ocean side. The apartments were mostly clean but there was dust collected on photos and some furniture. Not walking distance to town but no big deal if you have a car.

The property was very nice. It was not as clean as I would have liked. The staff were not helpful. Great pools, we enjoyed our time in Airlie Beach.

Our stay at Azure was enjoyable; apartment was clean and spacious with a great view. Only one room had a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The swimming pools were the highlight of our stay and we spent many hours there despite the rain.

Property view to the sea is amazing and it’s location is close to the shops.

We enjoyed our stay - views are beautiful and the apartment was very clean and well equipped. Staff were friendly. We did have an ongoing issue with a lack of hot water, but this was addressed as best as it could be.

The swimming pool is the highlight of this property, its beautiful and fun. The rooms are relatively clean but can definitely be better. The area under the beds are disgusting. The hallways have a musty smell which is not very inviting. It would be nice to have some body wash and body lotion as its hard to travel with those due to weight. Some towels for the pool area in the room will also be nice so that bath towels don't have to be used. Overall a nice place to stay.

The apartments are lovely and had everything we needed. The view was stunning and the setting was calming. Kids loved the unique pool and the staff are helpful & friendly.

The apartment was beautiful, Communication was terrible was never sent instructions on where to get the keys and the office closes at 12 during the weekend, had to ring multiple times to get the keys to check in.

Absolutely nothing to complain about place was gorgeous views spectacular staff where loving very helpful on booking activities. Highly recommended

3 bedroom unit. Had awesome view. Comfy beds. Place a little tired in places but very comfy. Value for money.

Great family friendly location to base yourself for Airlie Beach. An easy walk down to town but be prepared for the hill on the way back up. Room was clean and well supplied (though a few dishes were dirty). Staff were friendly and helpful if you need help with your bookings.

My stay at the Azure Sea Whitsunday Resort was somewhat disappointing. Rather than listing a series of basic issues that could have made my stay a far more pleasant, I would simply say the standard of basic facilities was completely missing (unloved). The management are aware of the issues I raised. On the positive side the location and view from the apartment was outstanding. The swimming pool and outdoor setting (including BBQ area) takes full advantage of the view.
