Comfortable stay. Large clean rooms. Friendly staff.

Room was fine, basic. Hot water did not work.

Very overpriced, a bit sad with worn carpets etc. terrible bedroom lighting and no hot water for half the time we were there, not even an proper apology, avoid!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel, it was well maintained and looked every bit as the photos on the booking section, convenient area aswell and not far away from local transport. Just a short walking distance, the staff were fantastic also and we very accommodating to allow us to leave our luggage at reception after we checked out as we had a later flight to save us taking our bags with us, hope to stay here again.

Recently visited for an event in Hamburg with some friends - room size and amenities were excellent, beds were very spacious and comfortable. Sound deadening was excellent and we didn't have any noise from any other rooms in the vicinity. Staff were very welcoming and well presented. They allowed us to store some luggage for us before check-in and allow for us to travel around the city before it was time to check-in. Location was good, located just shy of a 5 minute walk away from Holstenstraße S-Bahn Station and EDEKA should you need anything for groceries. It was only let down by the construction work happening next to the hotel during my stay, which was a little loud in the mornings. Room amenities consisted of a fridge for any drinks or snacks you may have and a mini-kitchenette. There is a coffee machine, and an electric hob for a pot, but no pots or kettle present. There is only two sets of cutlery provided aswell, which was problematic in a room of 4 of us. A fan was also provided and a tablet for access to contact the hotel or order room service. There is a mini bar of various alcoholic, and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, but these are charged for. Cleanliness of the room was excellent, we did not find any dirt or rubbish hidden anywhere from any previous guests, and two bins are provided both at the kitchenette and table near the bedding. Overall, I would be looking to stay here again in the future, only let down by some very very small inconveniences.

No power in our room, very hot with only air purifiers, no fans, spiders in the bed, carpet in room dirty and fraying. Smokey from cigarettes in nonsmoking room.

Great location for attending events at Volkparkstadion.

Stay was awesome, mainly because of parking in hotel in centre of Hamburg and free. Only thing I would point as negative, was lack of main light in a room. There were lamps that could be turned on, but even then the feel was ... shadowy, which is not bad thing, but sometimes you need light!.

I would recommend this hotel. POSITIVES: The room was spacious and nice. The breakfast was excellent, freshly squeezed orange juice, good bread, nice selection. Friendly staff; ready to help; ready to server coffee, ready to recommend restaurants. NEGATIVES: The shower was a bit small The Wi-Fi did not work for the entire stay Providing a Nespresso machine in the room is great value, but it did not work

Reservation policy is misleading. I would not stay there again

Nice hotel, nice atmosphere!

I absolutely loved this hotel. Having worked in Hamburg for many years, I always stayed at the old faithfuls and never really looked elsewhere. I just wish I had found this hotel then, I would definitely have made it a must go to place. The staff are excellent, everyone was so polite, welcoming and left you feeling that they are really happy that you are there. Food was excellent, the breakfast in particular was excellent with so much choice, it is like a mini banquet. The hotel is located a few hundred yards from Holstenstrasse train station from which you can go anywhere around the city easily. Tip: if you are travelling in a small party, get the group ticket which is valid after 9.00am and is up to 5 people to travel anywhere on the city network, including some boat ferries at only 12 euros (cheap way to do a harbour trip). In short, fabulous hotel, great staff, good location, good food, what more do you need?

It was a very good stay at the Boston. It is my second time and I would definetively return back again. The room was big with a comfy Kingsize bed and overall clean. The breakfast was included in the price, so you can be safe you’ll be leaving the hotel with a smiling stomach. The receptionist were friendly and expedite me quickly both for C/I and C/O. I highly reccomend this hotel!
