Restaraunt was great for lunch and brunch! Housekeeping could be improved, empty garbage. clean floor. Area is unsafe in the evenings.

Heard dogs barking and people shouting

Convenient location, very friendly and helpful reception representatives: helped to book hop on/off bus tickets and explained how better to get to destinations using metro service.

It was a good stay.

We had a Junior suite. Very large bedroom and separate large living room. The couch was a sleeper sofa. The mattress on the king bed was a worn. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The tub was very hard to step into, (tub & shower combo). Restaurant breakfast food was good. Views from the roof top were fantastic. Make sure you take C adapter to plug in your American hair tools. They had no American outlets in the room.

Not a safe area

The views from the top are amazing and the location is a short walk from la Rambla.

The hotel itself is fine. The rooftop beautiful views. The staff was great! The area iffy, but still felt safe. The room itself was fine. Not the best air conditioning and noisy.

The room is clean. The bed is most comfortable! The staff are all very nice and professional. We reserved a shuttle bus to the airport thru the hotel. The driver was most professional and pleasant! The only problem I have is the area seems to have trash, broken bottles everywhere, even though you see the street are being cleaned every day.

We are not experienced travelers, particularly to Europe, so were unfamiliar with some of the amenities and standards. We quickly figured them out, though, and learned to appreciate how things are done in Europe. The staff was friendly and, while some of the neighbourhood was downtrodden, it is similar to some areas of most cities we visited. At no time did we feel unsafe. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation options within a short walking distance. We appreciated that the area was quieter than nearby La Rambla, yet close enough to enjoy the amenities there.

Good hotel

Very comfortable room - spacious, excellent bed. Toilet design in room very strange (contained in a wardrobe?!) Decor throughout the hotel somewhat over the top but staff were very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. Main criticism is that advertising as having a swimming pool is misleading - it is the size of a large pond and not deep enough to swim. Also not enough sun loungers for the size of hotel so we couldn’t sit out and enjoy it. Location excellent - we could walk almost anywhere. A great stay overall.

The hotel itself was fantastic, with a nice ambience, and friendly staff. Good breakfast, too, and the rooftop bar is amazing. The pool was disappointing- it was tiny (don’t think it should be classed as a pool, tbh) and it closed at 6pm, too. The area the hotel is in is pretty awful, though. I wouldn’t want to stay here as a female traveller on my own. There appears to be security at the hotel, which is reassuring.

Great hotel and great staff

We enjoyed this hotel and staff itself but the neighborhood is really taking a dive it seems. Overall felt mostly safe but did have an altercation with a homeless person over a bolt rental bike and we saw some gang activity(2 guys on the ground with their hands tied behind their back) east of the hotel. The influx of refugee population seemed really high, mainly North and West of the hotel. Overall, if this property was in a better community it would have gotten a higher(5) review. Barcelona authorities need to clean that city up. The “special” interest protestor groups need to be unallowed. We didn’t travel to Barcelona for multicoloured and Palestinian flags. We went there for Spanish culture and heritage… The authorities need to take that city back soon! So much damage done. I feel really bad for the locals

the Shower doesn't has door

Gorgeous little room!!! Positives - Close to the Port and Las Ramblas, although was warned prior to arriving by taxi driver of the hotels area. Bed was fantastic and had a pillow menu (a great touch) Breakfast had a good selection, but ask staff for extra food as they don’t tell you about this which was disappointing. Rooftop - I would say this is the biggest selling point of the hotel, was fantastic both in the day and at night… grab yourself a drink and enjoy the views. Staff was pleasant and always helped and reassuring. Negatives - Water Damage above toilet, which could do with a touch up. Picture expressed a coffee machine which was not there. TV had limited channels and would not sync up the fire stick we brought.

Everything is great except some shady characters around the property.
