All good

On the exterior, The Comwell looked excellent, with a supposed state of the art spa facilities, high quality restaurant and a friendly smile on arrival by the staff. In reality, what I was met with was a lot of hidden costs for facilities that barely worked. I paid for access to the spa facilities, however, saunas were not functional, there was little direction in terms of what was available for me to use and what I couldn't. Staff were inattentive. I was seemingly ignored by the front of house restaurant staff as I waited to be seated, with several different members of staff walking straight past me without acknowledgement. I gave up and went to the supermarket instead. The next day I visited the restaurant again and wasn't impressed by the limited menu. There were no vegetarian options, little diversity and the food wasn't that great. When reporting spa facilities that were not working, members of staff did nothing to rectify the issue or inform me of whether it was being seen to or not. My room had an insect infestation which made it very difficult to relax and settle down. The bedsheets were not fitted to the bed very well, and I found myself tangled in the middle of the night. The bathroom was poor, with a sink that doesn't plug in, a shower that sprays all over the floor and a toilet that had a particularly bad smell throughout my week. I left the Comwell with a bad taste in my mouth. I felt disappointed and let down by what could have been a very lovely stay.

Amazing hotel and the service was excellent. Dinner with Claus as our server was a delight. Will return!

Amazing spa, breakfast, and grounds! I thought the shower looked a bit dirty/mildew-y so I wished it was taken care of a bit more. I still really liked the stay overall!

Relaxing and beautiful. We loved the spa options and the gorgeous surroundings. Walkable to beach and restaurants. Loved this place!

Lovely grounds

Excellent stay, very comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was great. The staff were helpful.

The hotel is very cozy, excellent breakfast, comfy beds. There was a few things we hope will improve the next time we stay: we were informed it was not possible to book the spa after the quite early checkout time of 10am. The bedside tables in our room hadn’t been cleaned and had sticky stains on them. The walls in the bathroom also needed some attention. The rooms were beautiful and big. We had a nice stay and would recommend the hotel.

A hotel that has pools and saunas listed as amenities but you need to pay

In the country-side. and only three mins walk to the station. Even the train ride was wonderful. As for the hotel, lots of amenities available, altho i didn't use as many. Food was good and there was quite a range. So peaceful and warmest bed in all of my journey through Europe. Slept so well, even forgot to close the curtains

Loved the hotel. Cozy and romantic atmosphere. What I did not love was the working hours for the restaurant. 9pm for room service and 10 pm for the restaurant, limit if you are hungry at a later time. Other than that loved it!

The hotel is a nice hotel and the breakfast is great - but - there are molds in the bathrooms and I am sure you know it. I have stayed several times at your hotel and hoped that next room is clean- but no. This week I stayed 3 nights. Every evening when coming back after a long working day, the window was 30 cm opened ( not by me). Still there is a strong smell of cleaning detergent - it sticks in your nose. I believe you need to take better actions than this. As a whole it is a great hotel also very good it is close to the railway station.

Excellent spa open long hours, multilingual staff, Scandi design and service, doesn't come cheap, but in good location with easy access to the station for 3 trains per hour to Copenhagen (incl airport) and Helsingor for the ferry to Sweden. Shops and a neighborhood grill within 5 mins walk.

Very laid back. Lovely atmosphere. Excellent restaurant. Room was acceptable, not luxurious. I would stay here again.

Beautiful property! Location is great as it is very close to Helsingor, the ferry to Sweden, and the Danish Riviera. Really enjoyed our stay and will return!
