Was a last minute discussion to try and find rooms in Sydney. A big mistake on my part for leaving it so long. Most hotels were full. Was able to get 2 rooms with double beds at The Simon. Was unsure what to expect as we had never stayed at The Simon before. Was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a profesional staff that had us registered and into our rooms in an instant. Both rooms were quite large. They had a living room area with a couch and chair, a work area with a long table and chairs, a seperate room for the bedroom with a door to led into the washroom area. The toilet and shower were in one room, with the powder room with a large mirror and sink in an adjoining area. The double beds, though a little small for my liking, were very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant. The food was delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our suite was perfect, the views fantastic and the location suited our needs very well for everything we wanted to do in the water front area.

This hotel gave the designers too much leeway. Everything looks good, but the furniture is too big and clunky and not comfortable. The beds were too soft which was very hard on my wife’s back. On the plus side, our one meal (the restaurant was completely booked the first night of our stay) was wonderful. The view from the room was terrific and the location was perfect.

Great experience from the start with friendly, helpful reception staff. Room was superb, with everything you need and very clean. Breakfast was tasty and reasonably priced. Hotel in good location, with boardwalk along the harbour just outside.

We had a beautiful King suite with a beautiful harbour view. It was very spacious, clean, and super comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly and dining in the restaurant was very good as well.

Just no complimentary water which is necessity ,but the view is beautiful

Suite was clean and very comfortable. Enjoyed rooftop and watched sunset. Had a delicious dinner in Trio.

Limited dining options within walking of hotel.. hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and tasty. Nice location on boardwalk. Great beds in a modern room.

To have a full apartment was a wonderful luxury. Beautiful bathroom. Great location next to harbour front boardwalk. The hotel restaurant was excellent too. Lovely dinner.

Rooms are nicely renovated. My only issue was there was an odor in my room and 3 separate times I mentionned this to the front desk and was told someone would go to check. Not once did anyone go so after the third time, I went to a local Walmart at night and purchased a deodorizer.

The room was clean, freshly renovated and spacious. The bed was too soft and uncomfortable. The front desk staff was not very friendly and helpful. They appeared to be annoyed that we arrived 1/2 hour early for 4pm check in. Said they would try to get the room ready for 4 (as if they were doing us a favour). Didn’t offer storage for our luggage or any suggestions where to wait, walk etc while we wait. After the first night we complained via their messaging platform (which stated 1-3 hour response time) that the bed being very uncomfortable and asked about a different room or a different mattress. We didn’t hear back until after we checked out for a two night stay.
