Great staff and property ! Will definitely consider staying here again

Friendly staff and good location

Interesting place with a vibe that’s a little more like old school Hawaii. A little bit retro. Agent wear or a little bit visible. I could see some mold on the caulking in wet areas. Despite any of this I like the place in the feeling that I got there. It does not have the feeling of a generic corporate hotel.

The property is cozy and nice. The road to the town is under repair and won’t be ready for a few months. The only way to get to the property is around the town where the road is not very great.

Loved this so much more than the big resorts. Beautiful homely feel, staff was friendly and helpful, our stay was memorable.

My only complaint is that the room was not cleaned on a daily basis. They “refresh” the room daily which is them bringing you towels and throwing out the trash daily. They only fully clean the room on the 3rd day. I did like how they allow you to rent free beach chairs, towels, and snorkel gear at no cost.

Amazing Mountain View

We had a nice stay at Kauai Inn. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast and coffee were great in the morning. Overall it was great and price was reasonable.

They loan out beach equipment and other useful things, which was a plus

Beautiful Old world charm.

The property is secluded down in the mountains and there is so many chickens and cats running around. It feels very local in comparison to a place like Princeville. There are great spots to eat tucked away and 5 minutes from Target and Costco and about 10 from a great Luau

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. One thing to be aware of is that there’s a public park behind the property where some people seem to be living, using the bathroom as wash house. It didn’t directly affect my stay, but it might be something to consider depending on your comfort

Stayed here for 7 nights for business and pleasure. We really enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel and setting. Got a really great Kauai experience. The staff was really nice and helpful and we loved all the animals on the property. Cats, chickens, and peacocks made it fun. We are animal lovers and got attached to a few of the cats and hard to leave them behind. We hope other people will ebjoy them and feed them too.

Hotel was so charming and authentic with a great view of the mountains. The on site managers were friendly and helpful. There was some sort of entertainment every night. We would definitely stay again!

Chill place

The property is in a beautiful location. It is the oldest inn in Kauai and the rooms are a little dated but we did not go to Hawaii to stay in our room. Staff was great. The chickens and cats are friendly and interesting to watch. Home grown bananas are good

Amazing place to stay! The breakfast was great. Loved all of the cats, peacocks, and chickens that roam the property.
