The perfect Fiji holiday. Beautiful. Not too many children. Lovely staff. Note many boaties hang out there - i didn't expect this. The Fiji Regatta is in September, making the resort very busy.

This is a much quieter resort than its neighboring resort. If you have children that want to participate in a kids club or go swimming at the beach at their own resort then this is probably not the right place for you. It's not kid focused but is child friendly. They rent bikes for a fee, which is pretty high per day, it would be better if they were included. They do not have a swimmable beach until the tide comes in. You can access the beach at the resort next door. We spent 3 nights here and had a good time with the exception of a couple employees that were not very kind particularly when renting the bikes (Ruth) and at check out (Tali). Those small interactions really soured the experience. I wanted to love it, but I just liked it.

First time staying ashore here vs being on our sailboat in anchorage. The amenities, food options, grounds and activities are excellent. Large island property with plenty of opportunities for exercise, walk, run or explore. The staff is friendly and flexible and show true Fijian hospitality. Highly recommended even if one can only pick one place to visit in the islands of Fiji.

The property was well laid out, with spacious accommodation offering privacy and peaceful spaces to enjoy. Plenty of included activities at the resort including 2 salt water pools, along with the ability to explore the island outside of the resort. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and show case the very best of Fiji's famous culture. The general store located next to reception acts as the islands main supermarket and contains a limited but varied array of staple products (no alcohol). The Island Bar is a must and gives "castaway" vibes. Daily changing buffets and menus at "Dicks place" were simple but very fresh and tasty, with the cafe a nice alternative for meals.

We’ve stayed at Musket several times and love it! Can walk to 2 other resorts for a change. People and facilities are lovely. Only complaint would be the lack of wifi and cell phone coverage in the rooms. They have Starlink there but not reaching out to the rooms!

WONDERFUL visit! This was our second island and so much to do. We stayed in a villa, super spacious and well maintained. EXCELLENT food at Dicks, great pool and location was so fun with the fancy boats coming in and out. HIGHLY recommended and the staff were EXCEPTIONAL. The spa was wonderful too! Cheers from the USA!

Beautiful location and peaceful. The staff were super friendly. The staffing singing and playing guitar upon arrival was such a nice touch and welcoming. The food is delicious even for an all inclusive place so very impressive. It's much quieter than plantation island resort next door but the beach is more tidel so swimming was best at the plantation island resort (not a far walk though and can access anytime). The pool needs work and upgrade (cracking tile) but the setting is beautiful (sunset direction) and the covered seating area adjacent was awesome to use for relaxation and live music every night. There weren't enough loungers (16 in total) so often didn't have a place to lay by the pool unfortunately. The huts were lovely, basic and dated but the setting was splendid so no bother. There were enough activities to do book (snorkeling trips) that was nice to do since you can't access amazing reefs from the resort.

Great resort for a family holiday. It was really spread out and felt quiet most of the time. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the pool as well as the cabanas. Otherwise highly recommend!

Musket Cove was a really cool experience since its on its own island, so if you like isolation and only hanging around the resort this would be your place. If you like doing activities on the main island then this is definitely not your place since the ferry ride to the main island and Port Denarau is about 1 hour long and was quite costly per person ($200 Fijian per person or something like that). We stayed in the Lagoon Bure and my two complaints about it were there were ants on the ceiling you could clearly see crawling around which was kinda gross and the lagoon itself was technically overwater but not really since you could not jump in the water (it looked pretty muddy). Staff were lovely and meals were all included though, most drinks were not so be aware of that extra cost.

Musket Cove was a bubble in another world. The island was the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed, the staff were the friendliest people who couldn’t do enough for you and the food was always delicious. Highly recommend.
