This hotel boasts fantastic, friendly service. A delightful check-in experience which included a glass of prosecco. The room was large and comfortable. I'd suggest two improvements - the room had large glass windows at a 45 degree angle. This means that the blinds only blocked out about 70% of the sun. The bed is directly under the windows meaning that as soon as the sun came up, the sun was shining directly on me, with no way of blocking it. Fortunately, I carry and eye mask! Secondly, the working desk didn't have a chair, which seems an odd omission.

The room and bathroom were gorgeous but needed more attention to cleanliness. We found items from a previous guest in the room during our stay. We mentioned the cleanliness to the front desk staff and the staff immediately came up to clean it.

Its always been nice staying here the last handful of times. Unfortunately this time there was some suspicious stains on one of the covers, and despite paying for late checkout (1pm) we got woken up early both days we stayed, the first time by someone trying to come into the room. We understand mistakes happen though. And normally theres no problems at all. So we're still pleased with the venue.

The hotel is great. That said, the location is a double edged sword. It is in the heart of the gay district, which is amazing as it’s alive and buzzing with people. With that comes late night clubbing and the music coming through the building is incredibly disruptive. We didn’t get to sleep until 4 AM due to the noise from the nearby nightclubs.Book with caution!

Hotel was lovely with many quirky features in public areas and the room. Loved the air conditioning. Friendly staff who very helpful. Understood hotel is reasonably old so wheelchair access was to the rear of the building but exterior was in a graffiti street which felt a bit unsafe. Front of hotel was bright and lively.

Great location, friendly/kind staff. Non existent a/c resulted in very uncomfortable stay and poor sleep. Two fans in the room was a tip off. It always felt like a sweat box. My stat should’ve been MUCH better.

Great location. Beautiful room decor. But loud and noisy even on a weeknight. Party next door lasted till 4am. No chance of getting any sleep. Ruined the next days plans.

Fantastic location. Very close to Manchester Piccadilly train station. Gay Village area of Manchester. Professional reception staff. Helpful with directions. Beautiful accommodation. Very clean room and bathroom. Toiletries provided. We had an early start in the morning and they provided breakfast in a bag delivered to our room as requested to take on the train. Great variety of items too. Will definitely be returning.

Its really really dated and the condition is sub par. The edges of the room look like they need a good hoover. Everywhere needs a lick of paint and a good spruce. Room smelt damp too. No amount of a shiny reception and cheap glass of prosecco is going to help. Make the rooms the same standard as the reception area. Disappointing!

If the bar had been open for residents til a little later in the evening then the stay would have been even more perfect. But thanks everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

Great location and loved the decor and vibe. The fragrance in reception is divine. Room and bathroom were very well equipped. Bed was massive and comfortable except where the mattress topper didnt reach the edges. There was a bit of noise from canal street and noise from electric blinds closing in other rooms but not bad enough to mark it down.

It’s in a vibrant part of the city, so be prepared for the sound of folks enjoying themselves. If you want a quiet part of Manchester this isn’t it. The hotel was luxurious from start the finish - glass of Prosecco on arrival. Bathroom with a huge bath & shower - huge comfy super king sized bed - huge TV too. The staff were personable & couldn’t do enough for you; one of those rare places where they genuinely looked as though they were enjoying their job. There was a lovely coffee machine, a well stocked fridge & snacks. Honestly, can’t fault this place. Ah - maybe not enough hangers; but I could have easily asked!
