The College Hotel in Lyon was lovely, it was quirky and different in its style of decoration. The staff we interacted with were helpful and pleasant. The only downside was that a sinhle breakfast tray with used items and discarded food was left in the hallway from the afternoon when we arrived until the morning of our departure, maybe no staff member passed this way to clear it away BUT regardless it should not have been left in a corridor for over 12 hours.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville de Lyon, mais c’est tout! Ascenseur hors d’usage durant notre séjour de trois nuits! Air climatisé hors d’usage donc dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte sur la rue bruyante jusqu’au milieu de la nuit!!!! Le déjeuner sur place offert est trop cher, donc aller déjeuner aux restos juste à côté. Chambre correcte avec literie confortable toutefois pas de draps, seulement une couette. Trop chaud pour dormir à moins d’être en camping dehors!!! L’hôtel a besoin d’un bon nettoyage dans les espaces communs.

The location was perfect right in the heart of Lyon. If possible don’t bring a car as traffics very busy to get to hotel

The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. While it’s rated as a 4-star property, travelers should note that the standards differ from what you might expect in Mexico, Canada, or the U.S. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay for a couple of days and offers a comfortable, welcoming experience.

Great location for Lyon old town. Cool hotel and very friendly staff who assisted with parking requirements.

What an awesome hotel! It is right in the middle of Old Lyon so everything was in walking distance or easy to hop on a bus or train to go further. We were able to get two rooms that were side by side and it was great for our family of five to be close with enough room for all of us.

To start, the elevator made a lot of noise, and the door panels were missing screws, which caused a scratching noise every time the doors opened and closed. The room wasn't properly cleaned, and there were a lot of small mosquitoes in the bathroom. It didn’t feel clean, and the fixtures looked cheap and old

We had 4 nights here and were very happy with our stay. Rooms are comfortable (with a/c) and have a kettle but no mini-fridge. The decor in the hotel is interesting as it was apparently an old school, so there are desks etc. A real plus is the roof terrace with many plants---we could sit there in the evening and relax. Location is great---very close to a bus stop and to old Lyon and its many shops and eating places.

It was super walkable for many sites, restaurants and bars. Would have liked to park at the Hotel, but it was full. Staff here was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely quirky hotel. Staff (Ellen) reception friendly and helpful. Great location. Quiet room. Big for Europe. Close to many eateries. Did not try breakfast as many options nearby Patisseries etc. Definitely great place to stay

Great location in the heart of old town, with many good restaurant choices nearby. Room was comfortable and quiet with a great view overlooking the city.

Bien installé dans le vieux Lyon, arret du Transport Urbain a deux pas de l'hôtel. Pour rejoindre le centre-ville ou la gare Très facile ligne directe le C3 Autobus .Pour marcher au centre ville 10 minutes a pieds .Beaucoup de restaurant dans le vieux Lyon bistro pâtisseries aussi tranquille et sécuritaire comme lieux dans le vieux .Excellent déjeuner même Bio .A retourner si le temps de la vie me permet cest sûr Excellent personnel pour vous diriger sur des lieux touristiques. Bravo une des meilleures hôtel Europe pour moi comme Canadiens...

Front staff were very helpful and informative.

Ideal location for Vieux Lyon with lots of bars, cafes and bouchons nearby. Also easy to get to the peninsula. Big room. No negatives as staff were very helpful. Some minor, inconsequential issues that did not adversely affect a great break.
