A hotel reportedly frequented by Indonesians. The receptionist speaks Indonesian 😅 Stayed 2 nights and got a spacious room on the 9th floor. It's super spacious to open and close your suitcase 😁🫢 There's a sofa bed and a refrigerator. The bathroom is standard Tokyo style, complete with a bathtub, bidet, and hot water. An 8-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, a major station on the Yamanote Line. Nice experience!

The staff is very friendly and helpful for anything we need. A very recommended budget hotel.

A bit far from the city center, but close to Ikebukuro station (about 300 meters). Ikebukuro station, if I'm not mistaken, is the second largest station after Tokyo station. So there are lots of different train destinations (if in Jakarta it's like Manggarai station). The hotel is clean, a bit small (according to Japanese hotel standards), and you get breakfast too. We really felt comfortable staying here. There are also buses directly to the airport or Gotemba.

Stayed for two nights on my Japan trip. It wasn't fancy, but definitely comfortable enough to rest. The staff are very helpful in guiding me check in late at night and check out before dawn. The shared kitchen is pretty complete, with a stove you can use to cook and a fridge to keep your food. There is also a washing machine you can use. Overall, this place is perfect for first-time backpackers or travelers looking for a place for a short stay.

This has been 2x I stayed at Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro, all the staff are friendly, there is only one person when I want to go home on the 14th, he is very unfriendly, I don't know his name but I remember his face

The staff at the check-in counter is very bad.

The staff hostel very helpful. There are many umbrella which you can use when the weather is raining. The room didn't large enough for us (3 people) with our baggage (5 baggage). From ikebukuro sta, used exit central west and exit c-6. It's the nearest way to sakura hostel.

How about a standard hotel room? Only I can spare the baggage. So even though we checked out the luggage was still left first. And so we enjoy the walk without having to drag the luggage 😀 Oh yeah, the breakfast menu should not be smooth, please get bored, which is just plain bread again 🤭

Really satisfied stayed here, the cleanses, friendly staff, comfortable, and I pick the right type of the room for us.

So happy to stay here. It's beyond expectation. Although small, but it's super clean, the staff are super nice and helpful. And I love the mint water as the welcome drink ❤️ I'll come back to stay for sure.

We had a great time staying at this hotel. Hotel staff were very kind and accommodating. The location was perfect, very near the subway station, malls, covenience stores, and restaurants. We'd book this again next time we're in Tokyo.

We can leave the suitcase for 3 days 2 nights without any additional fees when leaving the Tokyo area. customer service is very helpful. For simple breakfast (toast and tea / coffee).
