We had a glicth at check in time and was unable to reach Hotel.Com either by phone or e-mail. We were give a handicap room, which we did not need. Howerver front deck Clerk Nate did an awsome job by contacting his off site Manager and accomidated us into a rugular room at not extra charge. We are thankfull for Nate & and the Manager.

Place was very clean, staff was amazing and the pool was so nice!

It was a bit of a bait and switch. I chose this hotel because they advertised as pet friendly. There is no pet fee advertised. It ended up being $75! That is ridiculous 1/3 the cost of the room. Total cost over $300 for a generic hotel in a sketchy area with lots of homeless. The room was fine and bed was comfortable.

Very nice hotel. Dog friendly (yes, there is a fee). Clean, comfortable.

All is well so far. We needed to find a new hotel after another fell apart for tonight. This was a great alternative.

I made a mistake with the reservation but the hotel manager was very accommodating and helped us with it. We really appreciated that!

Parking, location near multiple places to eat

Staff were fine, but the area around this property is a bit sketchy.

The room has this kind of chemical air freshener that makes us have a hard time sleeping.

Probably the nicest motel in Arcata. Clean. Breakfast was fine (exactly what you would expect from hotel breakfast). Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The facility was nice and lots of parking, but the area directly adjacent was dirty, lots of homeless people and the stores were very gross.

Good clean and spacious rooms and staff Absolutely no place to sit a moment outside and no re-cycling. Boo

I reserved what I thought was a two room suite. Turned out to be large two queen room for $350/night. Nothing special for the price, housekeeping every two days, and then could listen to next door loud conversations starting at 5:30 am. Will not choose Hampton again.

Hampton Inn is always a great choice for a clean place to stay and a pleasant nights sleep.

Great location to get to the Redwoods National Park

Nate at check in was outstanding. The rest of the staff was well below average. Non-communicative and dismissive. The young front desk dude when we checked out never acknowledge me, never spoke a word to me, just played with his phone while getting me the towel I had requested.
