While the rooms were clean, the structure shows signs of water leakage in the walls. It needs some major renovation. The ad on Expedia says registration is open till 11pm. I sent a mail thru Expedia twice indicating I was a late arrival, after 9:30pm. When we arrived door was locked! Bar was open and bartender found our keys and immediately shut down the bar. If we had arrived 10 minutes later we would not have had a place to sleep as it’s the only motel within 30 miles.

Great staff and food . Facilities showing its age . Comfortable and clean .

They gave me a room that was not or had not been cleaned. Trash everywhere, sheets and pillows were on the floor and thrown on bed, lots of facial hair on counter of bathroom.

This is a tiny city what is available in this town older and dirt road and parking lot at least I have a room to rest for the night

Its very dog friendly. My dogs have to say hi all the time & they love the employees. Its been very enjoyable stay.

Property has great potential, but it definitely needs new furnishings! Staff was pleasant, though. Breakfast area was attractive, but the rest needs help.

It took three people to help check us in….. which seems overboard. We came back one night around Midnight and the front door was locked…? No answer on the phone. Luckily back door was open, would’ve been nice to tell your guests as I had to call the Sunlac in Devils Lake. Rooms are decent enough.. nothing fancy. Bartender was rude at the restaurant/bar that was attached.

Price was decent Not very clean and the owner is not friendly at all.

The bathroom had no ventilation. The beds were advertised as queens but were more like full. It was hard but I’ve slept on harder. It was only for one night so it was better than sleeping in the car.

Nothing worked

We made our reservation thru expedia and when we checked in and went to our room, someone was in it! We went back to the front desk and told the guy working. He went and checked to rooms and they were not clean. He went to check on a 3rd room and then said it was ok. We opened the door and it was obvious that it was not cleaned. He just pulled the bed spreads back up. The sheets were not changed, we garbages were not emptied and the bathroom was not clean. We left and did not go back. Money lost. We were not staying there! Shame on them.

Overall it was a good stay

Comfy and clean, older property but did the job. Had a little restaurants which sounded great but closed at 2PM so I never go to try it. Food was served at the bar though! They also l had a Dairy Queen on one side and a Dollar Tree on the other, which was great! I would stay again. 👍

The lobby was unkempt, the area at the check in very messy, room carpet dingy, oversized toilet seat on toilet and tank leaked on floor, bed was clean and comfortable, would only stay another time if i was trapped in a snowstorm (will only travel the area in summer now) Not worth the price. Thought we were booking Sun Lac at Devil's Lake- what a difference. Would not have stayed her except I had prepaid and it was non-refundable.

Good price and good stay. Small town and quiet and safe place to enjoy the get-away-trip!

It's a decent place. Requested for a double beds and got it. The back door and side door are not lock and left open, so there's a lot bugs around hallway.

You get what you pay for here. Its not a place youd stay longer than a night. The doors to enter the building do not have locks on them, the roof is leaking in the main corridor and people are smoking right at the side door, not 20 meters away! There was hair on my bedding, a used shampoo was left in the washroom. I got stuck in the washroom because the door sticks, you have to beat it down to get out! Andthe back of the toilet seat had poop on it from the previous renter. If your a hunter and dont require a 3, 4 or 5 star room, then this is the place for you.
