I recently stayed at Locanda Del Benaco for a girls weekend away, well couldn’t have asked for a better location with views overlooking Lake Garda. On arrival the lady on reception was welcoming and showed us to our rooms, which were next door. They were modern and clean and far better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at. Bed was really comfortable and loved the shower. Breakfast was mainly continental but they offer choice of eggs and great to set you up for the day, we didn’t eat in the restaurant during I visit but now really wished we had. I plan to visit Salo again with my husband and will definitely stay there again.

One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in, really couldn't fault a thing! The room even though supposed to be economy was huge! The toiletries were gorgeous, the airiness of the room and the incredible lake views made us never want to leave. It strikes the perfect balance of modern and yet sympathetic to the natural surroundings. The breakfast was also incredible and plentiful and where better to eat it than sat right on the waterfront. The restaurant at night was certainly one of the more popular in the area too which is a great accolade to the hotel. The staff could not have been nicer or more pleasant. We've already booked again for next year!

Beautiful location. Just hard to drive to. I would say don't even try to drive down to it. Park in the garage just up the hill and walk down. An easy 100 yard walk all down hill/steps. Parking is 15 Euro per night. Hotel was modern and very nice. Great Bed and AWESOME shower.

Great hotel, great restaurant, great staff.

Hotel is absolutely stunning, views from the lake facing rooms are breathtaking and the rooms are light, bright and modern. Beds are very comfortable and everything is spotless. The room was cleaned everyday. The breakfast is wonderful and staff are friendly. The hotel was not the cheapest but the location along the promenade and the clean airy rooms are certainly worth it. I managed to sneak a view of the luxury suite and for an extra special occasion I would say it is worth it!

This is a gem of a hotel, it is a really classy place more like a four star than a three star. The owner/ Manager and her staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are stylishly minamalist so there is very little storage space. It is worth paying the small supplement to get a lakeside view.....however if you are a light sleeper take earplugs as there is a bar next door which is popular with the locals at weekends!

Wonderful hotel, wonderful location, amazing restaurant.

The hotel is immaculate and really should be at least 4 star. It's situated in the middle of the promenade and 2 mins walk away from the boat terminal. Salo itself, is amazing with loads of bars and restaurants to keep yourself happy for the duration of your stay.

Modern hotel in a well located area of lake Garda. Spacious room with stunning views of the lake. Breakfast outside in the sun was the highlight of our stay.

Get a balcony room just to sit and watch world go by.

This hotel has recently had a complete makeover and the rooms are beautifully appointed, if on the minimalist modern side. We had a room with a balcony which had a fabulous outlook, if I little noisy in the busy evenings, and would strongly recommend this option. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and could not have done more for us. Also, the restaurant may well have the best food in Salo - a modern take on some classical Italian dishes. Great location, terrific service and a very comfortable room with a view to die for, and all at a very reasonable price!!

Superb little hotel on the water front in Salo. All staff polite helpful and jovial. Food superb. Rooms excellent value and spotless. Continental breakfast with a view of the Sun on the rippled lake is an experience I will repeat. I stayed for a week, I wish it had been two!

Schönes zentral gelegenes Boutique Hotel direkt am Wasser mit sehr freundlichen Personal.

Ho soggiornato per lavoro, come viaggiatore singolo, per due notti. PRO: posizione perfetta lungolago, albergo di piccole/medie dimensioni e molto ben pulito, la colazione ottima e molto ricca calda e fredda; gentile il personale anche su mia richiesta di cambiare la camera. CONTRO: il telefono non funziona bene all'interno della struttura probabilmente a causa dell'acciaio utilizzato come arredo e lastra a pavimento (ok con il Wi-Fi), peccato la chiusura settimanale del ristorante di martedì anche a giugno, il parcheggio non è lontano ma essendo l'hotel in isola pedonale bisogna fare 5 minuti a piedi. Tornerò per lavoro a Salò e prenoterò sempre questa struttura.

Supertolle Lage des Hotels - direkt an der Uferpromenade. Man genießt das sehr gute Frühstück mit einem tollen Ausblick. Das Hotel ist sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Det er ren nydelse, den bedste morgenmad der findes og sødt og venligt personale. Udsigten ved måltider er fænomenal, lige ud til søen. Sengene er gode og badeværelset fungerer godt. Aircondition larmer, så det er svært at sove for den. Det er et lidt dyrt ophold, da man også skal beregne parkering (15€ pr dag) oveni
