Bed was very hard and the shower cubicle was a little tired. Breakfasts were very enjoyable.

Avoid the room at the front. Drunk pub clientele arguing in the street until the small hours of Saturday morning. Room clean and newly decorated- clearly made an effort.

Lovely place, great breakfast. There was a live band on also the night we stayed, and they were excellent! The staff were so nice.

Attended early, room was ready and check in seemless. Staff were excellent throughout, friendly and approachable. Good breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable one night stay at the Crown. The room was a good size with a very nice bathroom. There was a good selection of drinks at the bar and we enjoyed some of tapas dishes for our evening meal. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

Very nice place to stay. Food was fabulous both in the evening and breakfast. Only criticism is that it was a little worn out in the room. However the bathroom was excellent.

Short stay- 1 night. Nice quirky pub, although central heating not working in room. Food good, especially breakfast which was excellent.

Very pleasant stay and good value as a very good breakfast was included. There was no food on the Sunday evening we were there and there was a private event which caused some noise late into the evening.

It was ok. I think if you look at it as a 16th century coaching inn, youll be disappointed but its fine and staff were all helpful, and breakfast good. Room was a bit small and if you stay there at the weekend , be prepared for noise in the room from the bar/live music

We thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Crown in Uppingham. All the staff were very nice and friendly. Food was good. Room was very nice and clean.

Staff were nice and helpful but lots of flies in the restaurant. This is very annoying to me as well as my family while having breakfast together in the morning.

The staff were really friendly. There was some noise at nite. By the the guests not the hotel. Unfortunate.we really enjoyed or stay.
