A couple of minor things to note from the hotel description; They do not operate an airport shuttle bus, and there is no car parking on site. However, there is plenty of parking in the vicinity of the hotel. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect as far as I am concerned. It is small enough as to never seem overcrowded, even at full capacity. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Also, the bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in when away from home. As for the staff, they are attentive and helpful.

Loved our stay here! Would definitely go back. The staff are so lovely and helpful they work so hard. Spa was great too. The area is super chilled and great food and friendly hospitality. Only thing would say is the Wi-Fi isn’t perfect but think that’s Greece in general.

Definitely not a 5-star property. I have seen better 3-star properties with better amenities and facilities.

Nice Hotel but obviously Covid is still restricting staff levels. Room comfortable but not as described on Hotels.com. Room did not have hot tub which was in the description. Only got 2 small bottles of water on first day. Had to keep asking for cups/t-bags. Cleaning not great and no towels on 2 days. Other guests in hotel were returning customers and they were disappointed with the changes/issues. Would return to the area again but not that hotel. At the moment it is not 5* as advertised

We booked a suite with private pool thinking that the price and reviews made it sound like a 5 star experience. It came very highly rated, which is very surprising and makes the whole peer review exercise unreliable for future bookings. Our room was really in terrible condition. The pictures do not show how much wear and tear the hotel is under. The blue couch in our room was marked with brown from dirt and the towels had holes in them (see photos). Not to mention that the floors had the grout scrubbed white but the rest of the tiles they did not clean... The staff was kind and apologetic but there is nothing they can do. Just beware when you book not to pay a premium which is non refundable... Other rooms may be better and are much cheaper. The pool is nice. The dinner is not to our taste (we prefer the local Taverna food) but included in the rate, so a cheaper solution. Their COVID sanitation is likely to standards. I left and felt cheated and disappointed. Luckily we booked for one night and left for a luxury five star hotel at the same price.

I'll start off by saying the reception staff were excellent from even before my arrival. I had high expectations of the hotel as it is a 5* and has such fantastic reviews, but I was a little disappointed. The food is not as good as I'd expect - breakfast is fine, starters and desserts at dinner are ok, but mains are not great. Every option seemed to taste pretty similar with similar vegetable accompaniments/sauce each night. The cooking of the meat for mains was not of a consistent quality. We had a room with individual pool which was nice, but not quite as special as I'd thought. The outside walls between the rooms with pools is very low so had our neighbours been out more it wouldn't have felt private at all. We tried the spa as when we booked it came with a complimentary massage. The spa was nice, and massage was fine, although didn't appreciate the masseuses whispering to each other throughout, quite distracting from this relaxing experience. The town itself really does not have much at all, so it's a good thing we were looking for only a relaxing holiday where we'd stay in the hotel the whole time. Not very picturesque. Overall slightly disappointing - the hotel overall seems a bit out of place in this location, and with some improved dining options and a more luxurious feel I would agree with a 5* rating; as is I found it more of a solid 4*.

Although I’m a mother of two I never truly realised how lovely it was to swim in a pool, relax on a lounger with a book, or eat a meal in the company of adults only, with no children around. A truly peaceful stay. All staff members are amazing and go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay.

Hotel was adequate but lacked some of the final finishing touches eg gym equipment lacking and not in great condition, had to ask for housekeeping to clean room, pool area needs more constant attention and pool towels generally in poor condition. Staff and management are trying hard but lacked atmosphere and finishing touches

Staff were wonderful helpful and friendly. We were upgraded to a split level suite which we did not expect it was immaculate and we had a pool, sea view and a view of a beautiful church. Shower was fantastic and the bed huge and so comfy. Breakfast was nice with fresh orange and an omelette making station. We did not have dinner but wished we had tried one night. We had a couple of lunches which were fantastic.never had a problem getting a sunbed and the pool was lovely. We loved our stay at Castello and Sissi is a fantastic resort. Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in all our travels around Greece! Hope to return one day

Service was outstanding and seamless, just what I would expect from a hotel like this. Eventhough we only stayed for one night it was very comfortable and we felt right at home. Breakfast was included in our hotel room and the pool was clean and nice to swim in. We didn’t get a chance to explore the area but heard that there are a few beaches within walking distance that are beautiful.

Further from the beach than shown on the photos. Room was excellent but disappointed in the restaurant - standard of food and staff not that of a five star. Very little entertainment but the one we did see water aerobics was excellent.

Very friendly and pleasant hotel to relax. It’s a boutique and very private. Never overcrowded pools. Lovely restaurant. Chef is very imaginative. A la cart menu is nicely presented. Staff can’t be more helpful. Drinks are served in style in nice glasses and local wine list is very impressive. Rooms are well appointed with private pools and great bathrooms with jacuzzi and rainman showers. Overall we had a great time.
