The hotel could have been much improved if the quality of the food was better and also if they stop having large groups of loud youths staying there

Good Good for less than 3 days stay The best was the bar waitress as he made amazing cocktails and sangria, he was helpful and happy to help us, he recommended cocktails and were delicious, he also gave us extra ice as my partner had a leg injury, he was the part of the hotel. One of the waitress Tamara was extremelly rude, as we arrived 15 minutes before closing the lunch time and she was so rude, we understood after as she wanted to eat. Location was okay. Bad The life guard did not allow us to play music in the pool area The pool close at 7pm not acceptable in the summer. Boring hotel, dont have entertaining or music, only one show ocassionally twice a week The food was repetitive and they dont serve rice, most of the food was plain and boring, lack of spanish dishes you have to paid for the drinks The double bed was so small, and they dont have tea or coffe in the room TV WAS SO SMALL i cannot believe they provide such a small thing considering they are 4 start hotel, Late check out is not allow I wont return.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 10 years - twice this year alone. It's in a much quieter part of Salou - there are some nice bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The beach and harbour are about 10 minutes away. Large pool with plenty of sun loungers. Bedrooms are a bit dated, but comfortable and clean.

It was pleasant enough.I wouldn't say it was 4 star. Just think the food in the restaurant could be more adventurous.Was a bit samey all the time.Also the restaurant staff need to be more friendly.Certainly the waiting staff.Mohammad ,one of the managers was very friendly.

Beautiful hotel lovely area. Could have had tea and coffee facilities in room. Also more English channels on tv only English speaking channel was Bbc world news. Snacks would be nice by the pool area. Or available in the bar. Breakfast very rushed and felt waiting staff could bot wait for you to finish. Very slow check in.

Check-in was pleasant, although it did seem to take longer than it ought. On one occasion my used towels were taken and not replaced - when i queried with reception new ones were in my room when i returned later, although they were just dumped on the closed bidet. The same day I noticed that my TV remote had been moved/taken by cleaners (presumably by mistake), however when I told the reception and asked for a replacement, one could not be found (and was not replaced for the remainder of my stay). The food was probably the most disappointing aspect of the hotel - poor selection and poorer quality - who goes to Spain and expects pizza/chicken nuggets and chips? Based on the pictures, especially of the grand glass facade, I expected the hotel to be of much higher quality. I would not stay here again - overall disappointed.

They charge you for everything if you don't speak spanish

The hotel was in a good location for the train station (less than 5 mins) and the beach and main street of shops in salou. The area is quite by this hotel due to being slightly out of the main street but this is great as takes about 10mins max to get to the beach whilst walking past shops and restaurants and you have a peaceful night without club music like in some hotels. The room was clean and basic the maids where very good and kept everything spotless. The food had very little options and was mainly fish all the time (even a fish lasagne was made) but was topped up regularly and different options each night. The spa is very small there was only me and my partner plus 2 families (2 adults 2 kids each) and it was full! It's €4 to go the spa for half a day and €6 for the full day just a Jacuzzi, steam room and small pool. Was raining so never used outside pool so can't comment, but looked well looked after and was cleaned daily. Entertainment was nil and staff didn't speak much at all, on arrival we never got told any information about meals or checking out was just handed a room card and a piece of paper with times on. Reception didn't offer any local information unlike the last time we went the previous hotel we stayed in had salou maps and were very helpful. You also have to pay for WiFi and it's very expensive you pay per hour. Overall it's a nice looking hotel and for the money worth it.

Hotel was clean and tidy staff helpful food was the only let down, but to be fair they do need to cater for all sorts of people and that is hard. There was always plenty of choice. The hotel is not far from the train station so easy to get to Barcelona, but it's a good distance to the lively part of Salou. Would stay there again

The hotel was nice and in a quiet part of salou the beach was about 15-20 mins away depending on how fast you walk.

Que dire !!! Réception les fille super professionnelle à l’écoute merci !!! Pour le reste demie pension la nourriture pire que un cantine de années 70 je beaucoup voyagé dans ma vie je jamais vue un nourriture aussi mauvaise les boissons sont payante même la bouteille d’eau a éviter cette hôtel

Problème sur la réservation donc 300€ de supplément est une responsable désagréable déçu et avec qui on ne pouvait pas discuter et qui ne voulait rien entendre c’est dommage !!!

La habitación y el personal, excelente, pero el buffet muy muy pequeño, poca variedad, por no decir nada, limpieza excaso, los manteles sucios, sin cambiar, y la comida deja muchno que desear, no volvere, hay hoteles mejores en Salou. y la piscina cierra muy pronto, es un hotel que deja mucho que desear.

Llegue muy temprano y asta las 12 no me dieron la habitación después a la salida a las 10 se tenia que dejar demasiado pronto, la comida de buena calidad pero algo justa en variedad los colchones de los adultos no valían nada y el de la niña papel de fumar nada cómodos ninguno las almohadas demasiado pequeñas casi parecían inexistentes la animación cero nada para los niños ni adultos el cantante demasiado mayor musica para mayores nada para gente joven no a estado nada bien para nuestro gusto

Bel hôtel, très bien situé, et trés propre. Personnel gentil, agréable et à l'écoute. Le ménage est fait tous les jours, serviettes changées tous les jours. Nourriture correcte. Trés bien dans l'ensemble ! J'y retournerai avec plaisir Je recommande fortement le California Palace ! Bon rapport qualité prix.
