We came as our Mini Honeymoon after our wedding - hotel was AWFUL!! The rooms where filthy with stained carpets, and dust all over the furniture - the bed - my god was the worst quality bed ive ever slept on. Lumpy, rock hard, noisy and mattress was paper thin.. The tea and coffee facilties had not been replenished and the stains on carpets throughout the room and corridors was disgusting. Also - not sure who provided the images of the Roof Top terrace - but these are 100% fake!! There is x2 SMALL balconys on the 5th floor bar, but absolutely NOT like the images shown on here.. My advise is to book the Holiday Inn next door - as i stayed in that one for my Hen do - and it is FAR better quality!!! Hilton - you need to do better!!! This was an absolutely AWFUL stay in an awful hotel!!!

Only stayed here because this was the only accommodation available last minute for Lincoln Steampunk weekend. Highly priced, hard mattress so not entirely comfortable and charge for parking extortionate!!

There was no check in even slightly early. We returned at 3.40 and were advised the room was still being finished. The cleaner was still in the room when we had no option to drop the bags and go out. There was no key for the balcony and I had to ask 4 times. The room was freezing and despite trying to ask for the heating to be reset twice it was still so cold. The room itself was clean but the hotel carpet was very dirty. Restaurant and bar was not the cleanest and had to ask for the tables to be cleaned. Car parking was very tight. Worried about doors getting knocked. Breakfast wasn’t the greatest, sausages looked especially undercooked. Despite booking a suite, provisions in the room were not the best.

We’ve stayed here quite a bit over the years but I just feel it’s a bit tired. Especially the carpets in corridors and looking out of the window at a huge amount of bird poo. There was an event on so was really noisy with music. I would like to have been informed about the music so we could have asked to be moved to another room

Great hotel in a lovely location, close to the historic city centre but away from heavy traffic noise. Nice breakfast too and overall good value for money.

I didn’t realise the tea and coffee and kettle were available until the next morning as it was hidden away in a drawer, it would have been nice to have a cuppa with the lovely cookies on arrival, perhaps a note saying kettle in drawer would help

Great stay - comfortable beds, breakfast was tasty and the bathroom was super clean. Only slight issue was the room got hot but it was 25°C outside so understandable. Would stay again

The bed is not comfortable, no air conditioning, I had to go to the reception to pick a fan by myself. No fridge, no water. The receptionist said water is only for regular customers. The carpet is not good looking

We stayed for one night and had mixed feelings. The hotel has a great location, right on the marina with beautiful views. The bar and restaurant on the 5th floor offer lovely panoramic views over the waterfront, especially at sunset. It’s also walking distance to the town centre, and there are plenty of food and drink options nearby along the waterfront, which made exploring the area really convenient and enjoyable. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a nice start. The room was okay, but we noticed bleach stains on the carpet in both the room and corridor. The shower tap was rusty, and although the bed was very comfortable, it squeaked loudly with every movement, which was quite distracting. The biggest letdown was the bar. Although it presents itself as a stylish, high-end venue, the service was lacking. We arrived around 6pm after the rain had cleared, but the outdoor tables were still wet. Despite the bar being quiet and at least four staff behind the bar, no one made an effort to dry the tables. We were shocked to see a guest ask for help and be handed paper towels rather than being assisted. For such a “premium” venue, that’s simply not acceptable. The music was also far too loud for the relaxed, mostly older crowd, which really clashed with the otherwise calm setting. Breakfast had a good range, and most items were fresh, but the croissants were dry and stale—a small detail, but disappointing given the hotel’s price point. Overall, ok.

Everything was good but car parking very expensive £16.50 for overnight. Parking is outsourced to yourparking space. This is not made clear at the time of booking in the hotel website.
