Peaceful but too isolated

Arrived at the hotel and was presented with parts of the hotel with scaffolding and workers at the front of the hotel. In the hotel reception half of the lights were off and it was very dark and had a funny smell to it. The smell was all over the hotel, and it was like cheap disinfectant. Also the hotel is named as a spa hotel but you have to pay to use the spa which is not detailed on their website or Expedia. Despite the outside of the hotel suggesting it was a 4.5 start this doesn’t even come close to a 3 star. Breakfast was very poor as well, one type of fruit and plastic glasses for juices. Staff also are not filling up items which become empty so we had 3 yoghurts to 5 people.

My wife and I stayed here after a very long flight filled with cancellations and delays. We needed a place to rest and recharge. The hotel is beautiful and well kept, the staff were courtesy and accommodating. Our room was small but clean and had everything we needed . The pool area was beautiful with a nice little bar. Overall is was a great stay for a few days and would definitely recommend for a few days.

Really friendly staff and excellent restaurant

We had the chance to have a dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. The quality of the products is really high. The hotel is quite and comfortable. A good choice.

The hotel is in a quite and easy-to-reach location. The staff is helpful and very kind. They waited for us until 11pm and accommodate all our requests. Breakfast super! I stayed just one night but want to come back to try Spa and swimming pool.

This hotel was perfect. Close to family, nice restaurants & a great place to rest between visits & sightseeing. The suite was beautiful & very comfortable. And the outdoor spaces were also very nice. Enjoyed the patio area & wish it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the beautiful pool. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay was amazing. Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, exceptional breakfast. Available parking. Easy access. If our future travels bring us back to Sant' Arsenio we will definitely stay at Villa Venus Hotel.

Do yourself a favour if you are travelling up or down through Calabria, then this place is truly a great place to spend the night!

villa Venus Hotel beautiful hotel inside. Breakfast is VERY limited and so is their staff. We made reservations 6 months in advance. When we arrived, the hotel was almost empty. We counted 3 cars parked and only saw 4 guests there during our stay. However, they refused to give us a high floor as we had requested. We were given a room with no view on the first floor. The air conditioner did not cool off the room and I couldn't sleep peacefully with the windows open worried about anyone coming in from the flat roof top. Notice that the good reviews of the staff are written in Italian. The staff, consisting of one man who will register you, and will be the waiter, etc. deserves a zero score for welcoming non Italian speaking guests.

Vackert hotel både in och utsida. Rent och bra sängar. Lagom många handdukar och duschartiklar. Frukosten lovades mer än det var i verkligheten

Discreta la cena al ristorante, ma passiamo ora al resto. 1. Camera - arredata vecchio stile, molto vintage, sarebbe da ammodernare. Molto rumoroso il calorifero. Inguardabile il balcone... a parte la vista sul cortile di un marmista, era arredato con un tavolino e 2 sedie in ferro totalmente arrugginite, per fortuna in questa stagione non c'è molta voglia di sedersi all'aperto. 2. Bagno - doccia con una cipolla di quelle da 3 euro al supermercato, che spruzzava da ogni parte tranne in verticale. I saponi né in dispenser né in flaconcini ma in bustine di carta come usava negli anni 70... Mancava il tappetino, al posto c'era uno strappo di scottex! 3. Wifi - funzionante la sera, non la mattina. 4. Colazione - scarsa varietà di scelta e addirittura il pane solo in cassetta! Direi complessivamente una mediocre locanda al prezzo di un hotel di lusso.

Dejligt ophold og fantastisk personale

Location was not ideal We had a dog an not able to have a walk on the sourroundings, we tried when we arrived to have a walk and one of the neighboor was shouting at us to leave the street and go away, bad welcome. Breakfast was super poor, many choices of sweet bread (from discounter) not natural juices or selection of fresh fruits, etc..

Unfreundlicher Empfang. Wellness kostet 25€ / p.P. / pro Stunde. Viel zu teuer! Schade. Die Dame, welche am zweiten Tag am Empfang war und gleichzeitig das Frühstück servierte war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend :)

Struttura ben tenuta, vicina al casello autrostradale, con personale gentile e professionale. Camere spaziose con box doccia idromassaggio. Piscina di acqua salata carina ma, purtroppo, non sufficiente per tutti gli ospiti. Canali tv Sky non facilmente accessibili per mancanza di apposite nuove istruzioni. Colazione variegata e ben fornita anche con prodotti di stagione. Un po' troppo bui gli ambienti interni. Ottimo campo base per esplorare il Vallo di Diano.

Ottima struttura e ottima accoglienza. La vicinanza a due caselli autostradali la rende perfetta per una sosta durante un viaggio. Grazie.
