Great value for money at this hotel and would go back again when visiting Katowice. Lovely food at the restaurant here!

Ridiculous price for what can only be described as a poorly upgraded soviet era closet. The two single beds were barely above prison standards. Total rip off, the only good thing was the breakfast in the morning and the shower was ok.

Nice hotel with tidy but small rooms and beds. As for 2 stara it is ok

I stayed in the economy part for a long weekend. Room was exatly as on photos. It's very basic but I had everything I needed. Hotel and room was very quiet, even though there's a motorway in vicinity. Special thanks to helpful reception for sorting out my daytrip to Auschwitz.

It is a basic hotel if you choose the 2 star option. Clean and quiet with a good breakfast

The restaurant at this hotel had very tasty food and healthy options. The price of the room and the food and drinks is very reasonable.

When they say economy, they were right. It was essentially a college dorm room - very inexpensive. So hard to get to. Bumpy gravel unfinished road to enter. Terrible parking facilities. Customers didn't know how to park their cars. Nice dinner in restaurant. Overall it was ok, but be prepared to 'discover' the way to get to it!

I just stayed for 3 hours in the hotel because I reached at around 5 : 00 am in the morning and I was having a meeting at 9: 00 am. But the staff was really very cooperative. The girl at the reception with a little short hair was very kind to me, she arranged taxi for me, she did all negotiations for me and also helped me in changing the currency. I didn't even asked her name but I wish I could have her number so I could personally give her a call for thanks.

This place was nice for the price. The breakfast was great. There are two sides to the hotel. One side is budget at AA and the other side is AAA. IF you are looking for a clean budge hotel with a great price. When I stayed the hotel was very busy with business traveler. I would stay here again. Don't expect luxury but if you need a clean safe budget place this is your place

Hello guys, I have been one night in Silesian Hotel. I was in the economy section (when you enter, on the right side.). The room - 425 was a twin room; it was clean, with comfortable beds and pillow. The bathroom was quite good, except for a little problem to the sink. The room is furnished with plasma TV, telephone, moquette, small table and 2 chairs. The restaurant food is quite expensive, but if you eat a soup you might economize something. The beer price in the hotel bar is almost a normal price you will find outside; the beer cost 9 PLN , and outside, in some bar it's like 5-6PLN. I have been in the SPA, with Sauna, Jacuzzi, swimming pool and gym. Entry from 17.45 till 21:45. The entry fees is 20PLN (instead in Hotels.com was 15PLN). The swimming pool is not big, but you can swim and relax; the jacuzzi is ok and the sauna is really nice. if you have time, try the gym. The hotel is pretty far from the city center: From the bus station take the bus number 110, 52, 10. If you have to catch a plane from Katowice airport, my suggestion is to go by bus. Unfortunately you must change 2 buses: one from the Hotel to the bus station and the other one, form the bus station to Katowice airport. I took a Taxi at 4:15am because no buses from the central station. So, from the Silesian Hotel to Katowice airport, we paid 120PLN. Katowice Airport is not well linked with public transports. Enjoy.

Certainly Doesn't feel like a budget hotel! Staff friendly and spoke good English to us. Room clean, hotel decorated nicely, it felt like we were staying somewhere much more expensive! Although the swimming pool was slightly smaller than I imagined it really was not an issue and it was really warm, sauna and jacuzzi nice too. Restaurant served very nice fresh food, nicely decorated tables and nice theme in the restaurant. Cocktails from the bar are also very nice! 5/5

A dam good budget Hotel, for the price.Shame the wi fi was limited ( it just kept dropping out in the room) but was fine in the lobby.

Silesian Hotel is very cheap considering the quality of the rooms. It has comfy beds, a decent bedroom , TV and wifi at a reasonable price. The location was fine for me as I really like 3 Stawy Park and recommend walking there- it's really beautiful, but I already know the area well. It's a little far to walk to the centre but you can pass the older part of town and the cathedral on the way. I've stayed several times and would do so again. Only criticism is that the spa now costs extra.

Ok, quiet, comfort, good meals, not to far to city. I was 4th time there. And my next accommodation in Katowice will be there.

Wellnessbereich absolut unhygienisch verdreckt. Zwischenzeitlich waren Kurse für Kinder da die nicht zum Hotel angehören. Was eigentlich mich nicht stören würde aber man findet da keine Ruhe. Und 4 Saunen hat nur eine Funktioniert. Die Duschen im Wellnessbereich waren verdreckt und beschädigt. Abflüsse waren offen somit der ganze Geruch von dem Abfluss nach oben kam. Also das war so schlimm das ich mein Urlaub abrechen musste.
