Beautiful place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful guesthouse! The people were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic! Just an FYI, parking is a bit of a challenge and Google maps wasn't very helpful. But other than that, we loved the place and we loved Obidos!

Quaint

Beautiful 400 year old property inside castle villa of Óbidos in Portugal. Great experience. Don’t bring a lot of luggage as the parking is a ways and you will need to carry your bags or roll them on cobblestone road.

A fantastic, beautiful place to stay within the Castle walls. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I do totally disagree with one person opinion that stayed in Room 1. I stayed in Room 1 and NO a person in a car CAN NOT reach their hand from their car into your window. The Guest House is so beautiful and the staff was super friendly helpful. A great place to stay.

Beautiful quaint hotel, inside the castle gates. Lovely staff. You have to park outside the gates.

Inn was nice, but room was small. If staying here recommend you not bring anything larger than an overnight bag as cars cannot access the location. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and had larger bags. Our Uber driver dropped us off outside the walls and we had a 10-minute walk uphill over cobble stones dragging bags. But the woman who was on duty the next morning was very helpful and arranged for a taxi and the driver walked up to the inn and carried our bags down to his car. It was expensive - 19 euros plus tip.

You must park outside the walls. It was difficult finding out where to park since there are signs for the hotel. Breakfast was great. People nice. Quaint.

Beautiful property. Traditional Portuguese look and feel. Hosts were wonderful. Great location and extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Walkable from Train Station. This place is in the heart of main attractions. Very clean and reception guides you properly

No response when asked about parking weeks before. I realized Obidos is a walled city so it would be difficult, however not even a bag drop off area. And after getting as close as we could , in the pouring rain , the check in person was unable to explain just where we could park. Even the map she gave us showed parking where we could not. The room while charming, smelled musty. We checked out, didnt stay the night !
