Extremely dirty room. Found bugs (both alive and dead) on matress. Switched rooms and it was exactly the same.

While this area of town is not especially welcoming, the hotel is perfectly clean, quiet, easily accessible to free transport across the harbor, and has easy parking along the street for lower cost than most of Amsterdam. The staff is very kind and helpful. The stairs are a bit steep, so take that in consideration if bringing heavy luggage along.

Affordable older hotel with friendly staff in quiet area short free regular ferry ride to central station and city centre . Stairs could be a problem for older guests so book ground floor if so

When I first arrived there was a smell from the bathroom, kind of musty, which was easily remedied by opening the bathroom door and window. The shower wouldn’t stay at one temperature. The toilet wouldn’t always flush, It would have been nice to have had a bedside light and tea/coffee making facility in the room. Over all the staff were friendly and helpful. The internet had a good connection. I was on the top floor and there was no lift so I didn’t want to keep going up and down the stairs not being the fittest of people! Coffee and tea come from a machine near the entrance as do other snacks/drinks. There are also cards for trips displayed in the lobby with QR codes to book Overall I was only there for a few days and spent most of my time out. There’s great transport access. All in all I would stay again

100 percent will be staying here again, Anhas and the other workers were very friendly. We was treated to a surprise in our room upon arrival for our anniversary at no extra cost. Lovely area. A minute or so walk from the free ferry. The beds were super comfy. Excellent value for money. Cheap bike rental on site. Let me some it up for you, this is probably the best stay hotel in amsterdam, in terms of value for money and the quiete locatikn away from the hustle and bustle or dam central. The hotel.is a budget hotel however, worth every penny. Could do.with tea and coffee machine in the rooms, but that is available in reception anyway so we didnt mind. Look forward to staying here again and catching up with the staff. Once again the staff were excellent. (Big bonus also, smoking IS allowed on the balcony, which was a major bonus for us as a couple) The balcony was lovely on a evening as the area is very quiet.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good , clean budget hotel on the North side so not central prices but only 5 minute walk and short ferry ride to Central station. Would use again.

Location is good. Close to Adam’s lookout. Walking distance to the ferry service. If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay few days this is not the best option for that. I found trash bins are not empty when they give me the room and there were brown spots in the towels. Heating is not working. A small heater given but that’s not enough to heat the whole room and the bathroom. Refrigerator is not working. When I use the shower room for the first time soap bubbles pop up with the water so I’m doubting whether they clean the floor properly.

Spent three nights at Hotel Isis. Tucked away in a nice and quiet neighborhood just across the river from the action of central Amsterdam. Room was clean and comfortable. 15 minute walk to Metro or an 8 minute walk to the ferry terminal (tip: if arriving via public transportation from the Central train station, take the ferry across and walk to the hotel instead of Metro). One minor drawback: there is no elevator/lift so if you will be taking luggage up the stairs but the staff is friendly and will assist.
