Stephanie was excellent upon checking in. She's very helpful. Taxi service is very quick. Waling to the bus stop is not too long but the streets are somewhat dirty. I liked that there was towels provided for the pool. There was a lot of long black hair floating in the pool that kept getting on us. I wasn't happy that our shower wasn't enclosed & flooded the bathroom every time the shower was used. There was mold in the shower, the drain cap was not connected & the shower didn't drain properly. I brought these issues to the manager multiple times & nothing was ever done. My husband & I slipped on the drain cap almost falling multiple times.

The hotel was spotless..the room was a good size and was in a good location for visiting local attractions. The pool was also very clean . The staff were excellent, providing everything we need . The location is also near a large retail park and good resteraunt.

Very far from anywhere. We took the metro and it was still far from the metro, bus is rare so we had to take a shuttle car. Qualiano seemed to be a remote area and far from central Naples. We knew from other reviews it was gonna be far but didn't know it was this far haha. Breakfast were only croissants and cereals. Room was a bit too small for 4 people, but the other room for 2 people was quite nice and spacious. The bathroom is also small, no place to put your bathroom amenities. Everytime we need to go out, we need to give our keys to the receptionist, which i don't understand why because I've never experienced such thing in other hotels. The AC is controlled by the receptionist, so if you need to turn the AC on, you need to tell them. However, we appreciate the help from the receptionist for arranging taxi for us to go to the airport.

We had a great stay. Service was great! Loved the 24 hour desk.

It is a very convenient location. But hard to get in and out of and there is not enough parking. The pillows were very hard. The bathroom needs some shelves. The staff was polite and efficient.

Albergo situato di fronte a grande centro commerciale. Ben curato, accogliente, pulito. Parcheggio interno e piscina scoperta, per uso estivo. A pochi chilometri da Napoli e Caserta, ben collegato grazie alla super strada situata a 300 metri.

This place is terrible. The staff treated my wife and I very differently than the European guest. The bathtub leaked everyday so we had to go elsewhere to bathe. The housekeepers would not provide us hand soap and kicked our shoes and clothes around the room. The halls would randomly smell of cigarettes and marijuana. The staff repeatedly turned off the AC in our room and refused to turn it back on. My wife and I ended up checking out of the room early and found somewhere else to stay. I do not recommend this place.

Very good stay for four nights, of which one night in a standard room and three nights in the Deluxe Suite. Although the price difference the rooms weren't very different. I would even say the quality of the air-conditioning and the comfort of the bed in the standard room was better. The only thing extra was a little bit more space and a balcony with pool view and of course the jacuzzi which is why we chose the room in the first place. Next time I'd stay one night in the Deluxe suite and three nights in the standard room instead. Overall we didn't have any problems and we had a nice stay! Directly outside the gates of the hotel it is a not very nice area. If you have a car, no problem, but I rather locked the car doors from inside before leaving the hotel by car. Inside the hotel you don't notice anything about this and I felt really safe. The breakfast is simple but for us it had everything we needed and we were very happy with it. If there is something missing, like milk, don't hesitate to ask and one of the employees will rush to a local shop to buy it for you if they don't have it (like in our case, thank you!). For the swimming pool outside apparently you need a hygiene cap on your head which you have to buy if you don't have it but in the end we didn't even use the pool, (pool is open daily from 0830-1800) there was too much to see and do in Naples! If you have car and don't mind to stay more affordable with the same luxury a little bit outside of the city, come here!

After reading some reviews I must admit I was a little nervous about coming to Hotel Smeraldo, however, the staff were amazing made us feel so welcome the minute we arrived. The rooms were immaculate and so clean and cleaned daily. There were kids next to one of our rooms and we could not hear a thing so I would highly recommend staying here if you like a family friendly hotel. I do recommend finding some source of travel to and from the hotel as I didn’t notice any busses. 100% thanks again!

We were first put in a nasty room that was attached to but not part of the main hotel and looked nothing like advertised. The old carpeted floor was soaked, the room smelled musty, the bathroom was dirty, the bed was solid with no give, and had two flat pillows, the window was blocked/painted over so you didn’t see the shabby location outside, and we had no WiFi which was our only means of communication in Italy. It was apparent very quickly that if you are not repeat customers the property doesn’t care to make your stay comfortable. This is unsettling in a foreign country particularly when the property is located in a sketchy area. We told them that room wouldn’t work since we needed WiFi, and after the annoyed night clerk said he might have something, we suddenly had a very nice room that actually looked like the website, with a completely different setup in the main part of the hotel. The bed was far more comfortable with soft clean linens and pillows, and there was a nice deep tub/shower and clean bathroom. The floor was hard/wood so it wasn’t soaked like the carpet in the first room. We got WiFi if we stood near the door. It was like being in a completely different hotel. Breakfast was delicious! The main premises of the hotel were beautiful with covered patios and flowers that sort of hid the conditions of the surrounding area. The hotel is gated for a reason but it seems the hotel takes care to make sure you are safe.

Really disappointed about the swimming pool was close in summer seadon and on the website showed me have a swimmingpool this cos i choice this Hotel cos i was looking some hotel with pool. They need advice on website if the swimming pool is close for working in progress

Unless you have a rental car this hotel is really not for you. However; with a rental car this hotel is perfect. It is just off a motorway and opposite a shopping centre. It's close to everything by car; 25 minutes to the airport, 20 minutes to Naples, 30 minutes to MT Vesuvius and 40 minutes to Pompeii. Hotel staff were lovely and friendly and it was clean. Breakfast is very basic, croissants and toast but you can't complain about a breakfast included. Only issue was that it is clearly used as a place for people to bring prostitutes, me and my girlfriend found it funny with the moaning women but It's certainly not a family hotel.

Give the hotel and staff 10/10 staff very helpful whatsoever your needs are they will try to help speak good English, For your stay you need to have vehicles,the place is about 21 km from central railway station , Morning breakfast is ok but it’s not very healthy,lots of sweets no fruits or toast
