Very nice and helpful receptionist

The room we were allocated (18) was lovely: extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was enormous and really beautifully done out. Parking is just on the road outside the hotel, but there was plenty of it. We had specifically requested a quiet room and there was no noise. The hotel is situated across the road from a lovely park, it was really nice to see so much activity, such as families playing together, sports teams training, people running etc. No complaints about our one night stay, just a few things that would have further enhanced the stay, for example: I'd have liked a light over the mirror above the dressing table/desk, a bin in the bedroom and a few more toiletries (one small shower gel and one small shampoo). Also, whilst the breakfast was lovely, the portion size was very small. It was a really lovely place to stay and we would definitely go back.

The room that we stayed really needs renovation. The carpet looks from the past century and the general state of the room was terrible! The people who run the place are very nice and always try their best to help in every way.

Wonderful trip for my 10 year wedding anniversary, the location is perfect for a quieter stat with easy access into the city. Highly recommend. Staff are lovely.

Fantastic room, super bath tub and shower, nice breakfast, great location near/at Leith.

Nice clean hotel. Owners are always on site and very helpful. They always smile and work hard to make sure their guests are happy. We had room 11. It is a large room with a very nice bathroom. Small problem it is next to the reception so it can be a bit noisy at times.

It was really good. Very clean and comfortable. And the staff was amazing!

We were upgraded to a bigger and recently renovated room with the best bathroom we've had since we hit the road May 14. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

Nice hotel, great breakfast hot or cold to start the day. Park across the street and bus stops on the street. Staff very helpful.

Friendly knowledgable staff. Across from a beautiful and open park. Close to good eats/pubs. Easy street parking if you beat the end of day parking and close access to regular bus service to Old Town and the Castle. Comfortable and roomy accommodations. Good breakfast to get you going for a day of sightseeing.
