Good in general

While the location was good, our room was not. Based on the other reviews, it seems like we got the worst room in the place. We walked in and it smelled like mold/musk with a mix of incense. I don’t know if it was the carpet or what The smell hits you like a truck and we tried to spend as little time possible in there as it made us feel sick. Also there was a loud buzzing that would go off every 60 seconds all day/ all night. Wouldn’t come back here but had no choice but to stay as the marathon was on and everything else was booked up …

A cute little hotel, located 5 minutes walking to the old town. If you arrive after 8pm then contact the hotel to get the entry code, after 8pm there will be no reception, the front door will be locked.

Ventilation and shower conditions could be better. The bathroom feels damp all the time. But the location is good.

I very much enjoyed staying at this hotel. It had everything I needed for a comfortable one night’s stay.

The hotel was lovely. Very clean and close to restaurants, pubs and shopping. The street noise was a little loud but still worth it for the location and price.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room spacious and comfortable. WiFi not the strongest and quite alot of road noise. Breakfast ok but not worth €15 tea and coffee facilities good

Near city center

Horrible. Stay away. We were in the room 103. Not clean and smelled like sewage. The bathroom smelled like urine. There was NO cleaning service. We had to go ask for clean towels. We asked to call the taxi for the airport. Our flight was at 6 am. There was NO taxi. Imagine you are on the street at night in a foreign city with no phone service. We had to go through stress and panic. We deserve a refund!

Great hotel!

It was a lovely old building that that been beautifully refurbished. The facilities were good and the hot breakfasts individually prepared, in addition to a cold buffet. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms are serviced in the afternoons. Opposite the hotel is a nice restaurant, which is very convenient and the No 88 bus direct from the airport stops right outside! The hotel is situated very close to the Gate of Dawn which leads to the old city so is perfectly placed for sightseeing. However the old buildings immediately next door to the hotel are in need of restoration.

Great stay

Our room is very nice, with a comfortable bed. The air conditioning works great! But one of the best features is the concierge, Laura. She has been a delight to talk with and has made our stay extra special.
