The hotel has a quiet location and is architecturally pleasing. It is however also quite run down and in dire need of renovation at this point. The breakfast buffet belongs in a motel, not a 4-star hotel. I give the 3 stars mainly based on the price for the condition of the hotel.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the room was impressively clean and spacious. Its location was highly convenient, just a stone's throw from Obidos Castle. We absolutely had an amazing time.

Clean and tidy, very beautiful, a little difficult to get to the rooms but the room is very spacious and large. We really enjoyed it, too bad it was only one day!

Wonderful staff

The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and really nice. Loved the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the wall separating the bathroom from the room was glass and not private enough. When I opened the light to go to washroom in the middle of the night it lit up part of the room where one of the beds was located waking up my daughter who was sleeping. Just an impractical design.

Good size bedrooms and bathroom, although a bit dark. Great breakfast, parking and very friendly and helpful staff. For star level was expecting more attention to detail in decor, room amenities and overall facilities.

Superb hotel and a lovely location just out of the old town. Contemporary design layout and furnishings. Great resturant and bar. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are well equiped and appointed. The staff are exceptionally pleasesant, friendly and helpfull.

Beautiful hotel near Obidos. Extremely kind concierge.

We chose this hotel as we were led to believe that it was close to Obidos and could easily walk to it. You can walk, but roads are not safe at night as there is no street lighting. You can drive and parking is free in certain places close to the town. Although a restaurant is advertised, this is not open until Julyand closed in October. Staff were helpful and willing to please. The room was clean and comfortable, although the bathroom was divided by a glass partition, which could be embarrassing if sharing. The room overlooked the pool, which would be very noisey when in use. I would definitely recommend a hotel closer to obidos for exploring the town if not driving.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY. Fantastic staff and nice out of the way location. Too early in season to use pool facilities but the grounds were great. Liked it so much extended our stay.

Great location, very close to Obidos.

We enjoyed our stay - we didn’t use the pool due to the weather, but was a lovely location. We did have a car which made dining options better

Overall, this is a clean, quiet, and safe hotel in a semi-rural location with easy access to Obidos. The service is very formal with little or no tourist guidance.

The staff here was excellent. And aesthetically everything looks great upon arrival. What brought the experience down for me were a few things. Terrible mattress and pillows, as well as a lack of outlets by the bedside. We had to unplug things and rearrange in order to charge devices. The rooms (we had two for the weekend) seemed to have been updated fairly recently and the hallways had lovely low level floor lights as well as motion sensors for the overhead lights, so you know they have recently been done. We might give them another shot sometime as I said before the staff was excellent so kind and helpful.
