A pleasant stay here at Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei. Staff was friendly & kind. Quiet & clean. There's a quite decent bathtub inside the room. Realizing the room here was very spacious compared to our hotel earlier. Even the single bed on twin each was so big. They also provide stamps in the lobby area. Well, but the problem is the hotel is a bit far from the train station and the city center, making it a bit torturing when your leg is already sore after a long walk.

Not so far from the station made this hotel perfect for holiday stay. The room is enough to put my 3 luggage with beautifull japanese interior stlye. It has onsen but unfortunatelly I didn't have time to look at it. They have 2 kinds of semi ala carte breakfast (japanese and western stlye) with many side dishes such as pasta, oden, bread, cereal and multigrain. Definitely will come back to mitsui chain hotel when we visited japan.

The mattress is soft, comfortable, small but fit. The atmosphere is pretty good, a little old, new in the old.
