Overall this hotel is fine. Clean, comfortable, seemed to be well maintained. Our poor review relates to the lack of response we received on locating items we accidentally left in our room. Specifically 6 items of hanging clothes (valued at $400 to $500) that we mistakenly left in the closet when we departed. We called the hotel as soon as we discovered our mistake...5 hours later when we reached our next hotel in Florida. The front desk checked the room and lost and found and said they weren't there. Subsequently over the next 5 days we called repeatedly asking to get some help from the hotel manager. The manager said they would check into it and would get back in touch with us. They never did despite us calling each day asking for assistance. Their voicemail was full and so we couldn't leave a message that way. Very poor customer service in my humble opinion and it doesn't reflect very well on the Marriott or Courtyard brand. I've accidentally left things in a hotel room before and have always been able to retrieve them. We for sure will not be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Jackson Airport/Pearl on any future trips to Jackson. This whole experience has been quite a bummer.
