Great location. 2 minute walk to St Andrew’s golf courses. Lovely view of the water. Great food in the bistro. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Lovely room in the new part of the hotel. Hotel is well located, a few minutes from the Old Course and a short walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. Enjoyed breakfast with a view of the sea. Friendly staff. We will definitely return.

Only negative during our stay was no Air Conditioning. However the hotel did provide a second fan, which did help.

Great cost vs benefits. Close to the University. Had dinner and breakfast on-site and really enjoyed the view and food. Bar had a nice ambiance and service, too. Highly recommend.

Hotel Du Vin at St Andrews was absolutely fabulous! The staff were attentive, but not intrusive, helpful and more than ready to share their local knowledge; quite frankly it was an idyllic stay. One comment I feel is warranted is that we booked two rooms with sea views, which were absolutely superb…but if we’d not done so and ended up with a view of the car park I’d have felt a little disappointed I suspect, as the car park area is literally an enclosed quadrangle, so not great tbh. We had breakfast at the hotel each morning, which was first class! In fact the breakfast was so good in terms of quality as well as quantity we couldn’t manage lunch any day we were there, just too full up! The next time we come to St Andrews, Hotel Du Vin will be our preferred choice of stay without a doubt.
