The old town area doesn't disappoint: beautiful historical buildings, narrow cobblestone roads with boutiques and local restaurants to explore. Caffe del Arte is so close to all, walkability score is high: town square, churches and waterfront trail. The Zebra Room is nicely appointed: great firm bed, dining table and great storage space. I loved the shower power! Do use the Ticino transit card for discounts - we forgot. Next time!

Our experience was lovely. A romantic little hotel in the middle of town. Reception initialy a little frosty but very professional, warming up with time. The rooms slightly dusty but clean and charming. Shower could be improved.

Absolutely lovely room - we had the suite. Clean and comfortable. We stayed right after Covid restrictions were lifted so they seemed a bit short staffed, which would make sense. Great location, close to the main piazza and sights. Would definitely recommend.

This place was truly a hidden gem! Estella and her aunty were so kind and so helpful! We arrived late at night, around 9pm, and they were so kind and patient with us after a very stressful travel day. Estella even helped me with my luggage onto the second floor! The room was very clean, and overall the hotel had a very family friendly vibe. I would recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Locarno! Close to so many little shops and restaurants!

Funky and elegant, perfectly located in the small streets of a historic, fashionable area. Inventive, delicious breakfasts in a small garden patio loaded with fruit trees and parasols. Love the family that runs it--including their charitable foundation.

It was really artistic romantic designed room. Clean and very comfortable bed.

We loved Caffe dell Arte overall. I with they didn't charge so much extra for breakfast (30 CHF?) but otherwise we had a great experience.

Lovely boutique art hotel in excellent location

Noisy and water pressure not very good but room was very clean and tidy. Bed linen was superb.

Unlike any place we've ever stayed. Small, intimate, with the kind of warmth and personal service you rarely see in a hotel. Great location near Grand Plaza in the old part of the city, 5 mins from water. Modern design but still quaint. Estella and her mother are terrific hosts. Be sure to sign up for their breakfast--it will amaze. All local produce. Also try the Cittadella restaurant next door for its seafood.

Wonderful little hotel full of charm. Huge room with balcony. Unfortunately it was very hot and there is no air conditioning.

The receiption around the corner was not marked as such, so we waited in the car for almost two hours after sendung an email also to find out about the entrance to the hotel.

The hotel had a narrow check-in time between 3:00-5:00pm - we arrived at 3:00pm and only construction workers were there and the other doors were locked - we came back at 3:15 and someone was there to check us in; however, we did it all in the hallway as there were major renovations happening in the lobby and breakfast area. We received a croissant, juice and banana for breakfast (was left on a table in the hallway) understandable as the majority of the first floor was under renovation. Wifi was free but was slow from the second floor. I did like that they had an honesty bar, would have used it if we were so inclined but we didn't. I would go back to this place once the construction is over, that's why I titled this review - almost there.

Loved this place located in the center of Locarno. Oozes charm with different themed rooms. Managed by two sisters, you can tell that they love the place and want to take care of their guests. Rare to find such helpful owners in the city. Lots of tips on getting around and parking (not an easy feat in this town). Even an iPad was provided for the room.

Lejligheden er rigtig fin som hotelovernatning, med en god altan ud til gården. Køkkenet mangler service (tallerkener, bestik mm) og ovnen er ikke færdig installeret. Der er mange gode caféer og restauranter i nærheden
