I chose the very small room as it suited my needs. Comfortable enough and very clean. Breakfast was good value and delicious.

This place looks more like a hostel not a hotel. There is no air conditioner so you cant really sleep at night. No glasses ,hair dryer, closets in the room.Bathroom had something that looks like a sliding door that you could not close .

The single room was the most cramped I have ever stayed in and the ceiling fan did not keep the room cool in ver hot weather.

I arrived a bit late so not many staff on premises but although the receptionist saw me and another guest behind me queuing at the check in desk she continued chatting to bar customers for another 10-15min or so.

The room was clean with a modern bathroom. Minimalistic design didn’t bother me, the sleep was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked great.the location is convenient between the center and the train station. The problem was the noise from the street. My room on 2nd floor faced the street and the windows were „nonexistent“ - very old with zero noise- canceling. During the day there was a non-stop construction noise from the street across. In the evening, there was an loud (like motorcycle) old car idling right in front of the entrance for more than 20 min before I had to go downstairs to deal with it. Later, at around 22:30 there were loud talking people (smoking employees!) at the front door. There was rarely a person at the front desk, I didn’t know the guests need to ring for them. The check-in and check-out were both rushed, as the manager seemed to care more about the restaurant. I was grateful for an early check-in though. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel at this price, unless one gets a room facing the back or when the noise issue (windows and walls) is improved by owners.

Everything was clean. Nothing superfluous but all that was needed, except the tea facility in the room.

I had a 24 hour stay over between flights in Lyon and wanted to try this hotel as ts called the same name as a Scottish Glaswegian detective television series called Taggart . A delay in getting my room due to the cleaning staff being behind but given a comfy industrial theme room which French hoteliers are excellent. Nice breakfast and quiet, pleasant stay

I felt this was good value. Location for a visitor is good. I walked everywhere so can't comment on transit but it's not too far to the old town. The neighbourhood is nice - never felt unsafe and the adjoining restaurant was quite good. My only complaint was I got bitten by something or things. I left with about a dozen, very itchy bites. Not bed bugs but something.

WE stayed 3 nights. The elevator was out of order for the last two nights that we were there. Hotel only had one elevator that is about 2 and1/2 ft x 2 and 1/2 ft. We had to bring our 2 big and 2 hand luggages, early in the morning down 72 steps. The hotel had no phone line and we had to go to the reception to get anything. No hair dryer in the room. There breakfast was good for the price. Some staff members were not friendly. Whole hotel only had one person assigned to do reception work to dinning area serviced.

Single Room was comfortable and the bed was larger than expected. Not much of a view but for a stop off this is perfect. Safe area with parking on the street outside with many bars/restaurants in the local area
