This is a lovely hotel with loads of charm and great staff. From the traditional courtyard for breakfast to the piano bar terrace for dinner and drinks, this property mixes Tanger's history with modern comforts. Delicious food, great service, and a quiet room - we loved it!

We enjoyed 4 days and 3 nights at this gorgeous historic hotel. The staff was very kind and our view of the water was 5 stars! If we come back I’d definitely stay here again. The location is walking distance to the historic souk and made our trip amazing

Magnificent 1920’s hotel fully renovated. Every thing from the room to the pool to the breakfast to the staff was perfect. Special mention to Rashid and Hussain who were on duty when we arrived. I had left my bag in the back of the taxi and with a few phone calls they got it back in under 30 minutes. Exceptional service saving us days of panic and inconvenience. A great hotel to finish our month in Marco.

Beautiful historic hotel in a convenient location with excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views from the terrace, delicious breakfast and a lovely pool. There is fine dining on site and if you’d like a cocktail that is an option. It is a quick and safe walk to the Medina. Treat yourself and stay here while in Tangier.

A great stay in a luxury hotel; grab a front facing room to make the most of views over the Medina to the sea.

Property was beautiful, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was also great. Offers one of the best views in Tangier. One complaint was that the staff were rude for no apparent reason. For a hotel this grandiose and with this history, my partner and I were repeatedly surprised by how cold and unwelcoming the lobby staff were.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Tangier. Spain can be viewed from the terrace. The rooms are built cozy and delightful with attention to detail taking one back to the old colonial era. Breakfast had ample options. Overall great stay.

We just returned from our first trip to Tangier and stayed at this hotel. The check-in was easy, the room, adequate, and the concierge helped with airport transport. The grounds were lovely as was the morning breakfast. It was close to the Old Medina and there were always plenty of taxis around. Our room was always a bit warm for my liking and it was likely this was due to the off season but there seemed to be one server working the 2 small bars and the evening restaurant. With this, it took a very long time to be served. The most notable thing was that the hotel is located on a hill and if you have any mobility issues, this is likely not the place for you. You either need to taxi up hill from the gate or walk up hill or stairs to reach the main entrance. This really wasn’t an issue for us but just a note for others. Overall, our stay was positive.

A cool hotel from a time passed. 90 years old but updated rooms. Really classy but also approachable. If you can, stay at this hotel. It’s right by the Medina. It’s got history. They have a really cool terrace and a bar with music.

Amazing stay in a an endlessly interesting property. People all over the city told me this was the best hotel in Tangier. Was closed for a long time, glad it is renovated and back open. Will be staying again!

This is a very nice hotel in a spectacular location. The view out over Tangier Bay makes it obvious why Matisse holed up and painted here for a while. The hotel is quite nice and the staff is very responsive. They arranged for our cabs both from the port and to the airport without a hitch. The hotel is just uphill from the Grand Socco and the medina, so it’s an easy walk to the things you probably will want to see.
