Quiet location yet a few minutes walk to Rosebank Mall. The in-house restaurant has great food and wine. Breakfast was also good. Liked the turndown service as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Clico for 2 nights and loved the unique layout of the hotel. The restaurant was fantastic for both dinners and breakfasts we had there. The staff was extremelyattentive and helpful..

Loved my stay at Clico, thanks to the team for taking care of me when I was feeling poorly and went out of their way to make me porridge 🙂. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in town.

We had arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport, no one was there. Asked the agent at information desk to call driver and hotel for us, we were told to wait and someone would be there shortly. we waited 1 hour and nobody showed up. Asked the help of information agent to contact the driver again, the driver had been given the wrong customer name. Someone else ended up taking us to the hotel. Would have given a 5 otherwise.

I had a great stay. The staff was excellent. The room was clean.

I spent a couple nights there so I could explore the city on the Hop on and off bus… It was a quick walk down to Rosebank shopping area, where you caught the first stop of the bus. From the beginning to end, my experience was great, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. As a solo traveler, it’s nice when people acknowledge you coming and going, it gives you a sense of security. I have celiac disease and I can’t eat gluten and dairy and ate two dinners and two breakfast in the restaurant, they were great about accommodating me and making sure I had things that were delicious. My balcony overlooking the pool, beautiful sunsets. My only regret was I didn’t have more time to stay there!

Great accomodation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lunch & Diner very nice. Food Quality and Ambience 5*. Very Clean, nice and modern Room. Would Always come back!

A welcoming oasis with an excellent restaurant, Sec.

A lovely property with good staff, great service, and very comfortable rooms. We found this boutique hotel online and a very happy with our stay. We had friends who were from outside of Joburg join us, they have not heard of this facility, and they will return. Overall excellent facility with great stuff.

It was a terrific experience. The staff at the hotel is fantastic and helped us in any way, especially Peggie. The hotel itself is only 9 room, and guarantees a nice and quuet environment. Very good restaurant, and excellent breakfast. I most strongly recommend it.

A noce experience

The hotel is small, but with well appointed rooms. The shower in room 3 was tiny tho. Hotel has a nice restaurant and a very good breakfast. However, if you order aiport transfer confirm before your flight cos somehow they forgot to arrange transfer and it was a long cold wait at the airport. Super unpleasant after a very long flight.

Lovely, unpretentious hotel run by helpful and friendly professionals. Don't miss dining at the restaurant. It's worth it! I aim to return.

Clico Boutique hotel is a really nice establishment. The room was very clean. The bathroom is quite large with waterfall shower head and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately my sister got very ill after having dinner at the hotel. She had no energy, could hardly walk or speak. When we arrived home we took straight to the hospital and there we found out that she had samenella poisoning in the blood along with a bacterial gut infection which contributed to borderline kidney failure. She's still in the hospital recovering. Her situation made me dislike Clico hotel for the improper handling of food. I witnessed the same people who work in the restaurant were also cleaning the pool, sweeping and maintaining the grounds and will go back into the restaurant/ kitchen and served the hotel guests with the same attire . How incredibly stupid that they weren't mindful that they can bring in contaminants into the food area exposing their guests to serious illnesses. Very disappointing.

Arrived 3 hours before 2pm check in but staff quickly turned around room, very welcome after 20 hours flying from Scotland. Great service at dinner and breakfast Good pick up from airport and return

Great boutique hotel in the center of Rosebank! It is a very pretty property with lovely views and a quiet escape from the city. Excellent on-site restaurant and easy walking to Rosebank Mall, galleries and restaurants. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Highly recommend!
