Beautifully serene and aesthetically appealing to the eye. Gorgeous view of the water from the countryside and tucked away from crowds and noise. Two stunning pools and lobby/lounge area that is never crowded. Should have car available or rent one to get to quaint town 8 minutes away, otherwise you are limited to the grounds. Cuisine was tasty and service staff was welcoming. Upscale in taste and price but we were very pleased with our stay. Would recommend.

A beautiful property in a idyllic setting with a view of the coast and sea. The rooms are rustic and charming. Services include a great spa, 2 pools and a superb restaurant.

Gorgeous hotel with every detail considered on your behalf. 2 pools, a stunning spa, tennis courts, shuttle to the beach, and a delicious breakfast. Everything you need can be reserved via an app which is very convenient! The hotel made us feel very safe during Covid and even changed the spa and hangman to exclusive use for 1 hour a day per guests. I can’t recommend this hotel more highly - it’s expensive but the view and service and rooms are worth every cent!

This was, quite simply, one of the best holidays we've ever had (despite Covid-19!) & full credit must go to the wonderful team at Li Finistreddi for delivering such a brilliant experience during such a difficult time. The service was flawless and the name 'country retreat' is absolutely spot-on - this is not a hotel in the conventional sense but a delightful estate nestled into the hillside a mile above the small town of Cannigione with 19 'rooms'. We stayed in 'Lantana' - my wife, daughter and I - which was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and generously apportioned. No building is more than one storey high, so the entire space feels in harmony with the stunning location. Nature abounds - butterflies, lizards, martens, night-jars - & the entire estate is meticulously kept. The restaurant is very good indeed but we alternated eating in and out on a daily basis. My wife is a coeliac & the chef provided all manner of gluten-free alternatives at both breakfast and dinner, as well as catering to my 12-year old daughter with great flexibility. Plenty of external guests come in for dinner, particularly at the weekend, which is always a good sign. Due to Covid, the hotel was not full when we stayed, but even at peak time I can't imagine this place would ever feel 'busy'. This is probably the best place we have stayed for a relaxing summer break/retreat and we will definitely be coming back in the future.
