Front desk staff was very though and friendly. Appreciated the time he spent making sure I knew where my room was. Nice that I had a first floor room and parking was very close to room.

This is a great hotel, clean and nice. If you don't want to overspend in Ashland I highly recommend this place. I travel with dogs and it was very pet friendly as well.

MY GOD... Where to start? When you walk in, the staff is courteous and friendly. The entry is nice. Then things tumble from there. The back entrance to the entire facility isn't locked. You can just open it without a key. This will figure into what I discuss later. The carpets - in the hallway and in the rooms - are stained... ALL OF THEM. The bathroom in the room wasn't fully cleaned when we got there and the floor matt had holes in it! We were terrified to even touch the cover on the bed. The ice machine rattled and was in an isolated area with trash around it. The next morning when we woke up to leave, we stepped into the elevator to discover the floor was soaked in URINE! I've never EVER seen such a disgusting hotel in my life - and certainly didn't expect this from a reputable, national chain. We will NOT be going back to that hotel, nor that chain again. P.S. I took pictures, but can't upload them here. Bummer. But I saved you the shock of how gross it was, so you're welcome.

Stopping on our way back to crazy California. Very pleasant stay. Immaculate care of the facility. Immaculate cleanliness of the room and accoutrements. Great staff. Great breakfast, and, wait for it, the best coffee I’ve had besides my own roasts and brews.
