We arrived to find a run down hotel with some sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot. We checked in, noticing how run down the building seemed. We tentatively went to our room, but found that there were crumbs all over the carpet and stains on the windows and bathtub. We did not feel comfortable staying there, nor did we feel like our vehicle was safe in the parking lot. We told the receptionist, and she apologized and agreed to give us the $100 damage deposit back. However, since we booked through Expedia, I don’t think we got the full refund for the room. We spent extra money and booked a room at the Best Western. Much cleaner and safer there.
