Reqlly nice enjoyed stay, need more light at the sign as ots very hard to find at night in the rain in the very dark. Perhaps fix the top of the drive up a bit as its a pretty steep bump. Small token of chocolate and port was a nice touch but perhaps reserch your demographic of who is actually staying. We didnt deink the port but local wine would have been a better option

Bed linen was observed to be dirty when taken out of closet. No quilt cover on the bed. The complimentary shampoo/ conditioner and body wash we’re used and half empty. We’re unable to open any of the windows as painted shut and as it got very smoky from the fire. Ants in the kitchen cupboard Wasps got in to the cottage and had no fly spray or windows to open.

It was lovely to have the heater on when we arrived. Nice but dated. Very unkept out side. With a little work it could be really lovely. Ok, but only worth half the money we paid.

The interior of the cottage was warm and welcoming, but the exterior looked tired and uncared for. The pathway down the hill to the cottage was dangerous at night. The lack of being able to talk to a live person made check in difficult and time consuming after a 4-hour drive to get there. A minor issue; the carton of long-life milk in the fridge was 5 months out of date and about to pop!

Everything is perfect, but the only thing that needs improvement is installation wi-fi and supply tissue.

We only stayed there for a night. Booked the Elan cottage and it was pretty clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful and quiet. I guess if I had to pick for negatives, it’d be that firewood wasn’t included in the accommodation charge. Guests have to buy their own-bit inconvenient. Maybe they could include the firewood cost during autumn and winter.

Absolutely lovely cottage with a woodburner and spa bath, close to William Ricketts sanctuary. The kitchen is well equipped, and the wifi reception is good. We really enjoyed our stay.

Other than a few minor points, this was a relaxing stay at Tudor Cottages. Fireplace is a wood heater (not open as the images suggest), and Evora Cottage shares a common wall with the adjoining Elan cottage.

Reasonable location but on a main road, with a difficult driveway and poor signage making it difficult to find especially after dark. Not too clean, Woodfire advertised but no wood supplied. Honestly, nothing very special to recommend it, but OK value.

Driveway is terrible, access dangerous on bend, need to take extreme care with entry, easy to damage underside of vehicle, property needs a little TLC.

The bed broke and was not fixed, the power went out with no heating or local supplies for the fire place, left us in the dark with no warmth. Over all the place was dusty and no donna covers.

Cute cottage. All that is missing is a rack to hang clothes on. No mobile or internet service if your provider is vodaphone or Optus . As others reviews have said it is not that easy to locate driveway so better not to attempt to find it at night. Would stay again.
