When the car park is full, immediately rush for free valet parking.

The hotel staff was very friendly in helping me call a body massage therapist when I was sick, and the lemongrass ginger water drink was delicious, a drink when I was sick at the hotel.

The soundproofing in the room wasn't comfortable, as people could hear walking in the hallway. The staff was friendly, and they gave me a coffee voucher.

A pleasant experience staying with my family twice. I also received a surprise birthday cake. Thank you, The Alana. God willing, on my next trip to Yogyakarta with my family, we will definitely stay here again.

The service is okay... if possible, the towel hanger in the bathroom could be made bigger, so it would be easier to hang them... hehee

Had a wonderful stay at The Alana Hotel Malioboro Yogya. The staff were so friendly I felt like a VIP guest the whole time. The room was super comfy. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices (I may or may not have gone back for “just one more round”). Location is perfect—close to Malioboro but still peaceful. Definitely coming back!

The room is comfortable, close to the city center, next to the hotel there is a food stall.

The room quality felt closer to a 3-star standard, and there was a slight musty smell that made the stay less comfortable than expected. However, the food truly exceeded my expectations. The variety and taste were honestly better than many 5-star hotels I’ve tried in Yogyakarta. If you don’t mind simpler rooms and are looking for a place with excellent, well-prepared food, this hotel can still be a solid choice.

This was my first time staying here, and I stayed for three nights. The location is quite strategic, although not too close to Malioboro, but central enough to easily reach everything. The staff are friendly, the hotel and rooms are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is good, and the swimming pool is adequate, though not particularly large. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay here.
