Staff was kind and helpful with directions to public transportation and taxi. Super restaurant next door for pizza was an added bonus. Great pool. Wish I had known about it when I arrived.

Modern, clean hotel. Good swimming pool. Good-sized room with mini bar and kettle. Food in restaurant of high standard. Good set menu. Location very convenient for Poretta/Bastia airport.

Decent enough hotel 3*with a good restaurant and breakfast. Bed was a bit stodgy but it’s about as good as you’ll get around Bastia airport

Wifi was great for remote working!

Very nice private hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean. The swimming pool was decent size and clean. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. As a British person I would have liked a bigger choice of breakfast items, but I realise this is France.

This is the third overnight stay before a flight back to the U.K. The staff are so very friendly and helpful except perhaps the gentleman who may be the owner/manager. He could smile a bit ! The restaurant is vey good and excellent value.

All fine for an airport hotel

We stayed for the late check in and proximity to the Bastia airport. The wall paper in the room was peeling from water damage and there may have been mold in the corners of the walls. Not the most pleasant hotel but the bed was fine and location convenient for the airport.

Fine airport hotel set in pleasant grounds, pool, nice restaurant. Breakfast a bit feeble for the price (12€)

The staff were incredibly kind and caring, and went above and beyond what I expected.

Receptionist unfriendly & unwelcoming, did not smile once. I arrived early, but was not told I could wait in the empty waiting area or where I could order a drink & snack at the almost empty bar area whilst I waited for my room. The common toilet was not clean & dispenser had no soap. When I returned later, I found my room had not been cleaned, after all. The 2nd Receptionist was much nicer & more efficient, & sorted out my check-in

Chez Walter is much more than just an airport hotel - good sized rooms, lovely pool & garden, excellent restaurant and very helpful staff. I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in Corsica.

Not much around but the place was clean and friendly. The restaurant was also very good

Room was smaller than expected as description said 16m sq but bedroom was small with large bathroom. Welcome at Check in wasnt over friendly but rest of team including restaurant we're very kind. Hotel and restaurant very clean and clearly respect the current covid hygiene requirements. Bed comfy and had a good night's sleep. Restaurant quality and price correct for the area. Enjoyed 2 meals there.

Great place to stay! Excellent food!

Check in was slow. It opens at 11.30am according to Expedia, but our room wasn't ready at 1pm when we got to the hotel so they had to allocate us a different room. Cleaners weren't properly informed and walked on us as we were changing in the room ! Nice big pool but quite busy with kids. A fair number of restaurants in a 5-mile radius.

Chez Walter only 3 stars but giving close to 4 star facility, service and good quality food. Very friendly, excellent, helpful staff. Ideally situated - only 10 mins from the airport and very easy to find. Great place for touring - Bastia only 20 mins away, St Florent just over 1 hour, Calvi 2 hr, Ajjacio 2.5 hr. Having stayed in the 'Carlton' in Nice...I would pick Chez Walter everytime for Quality of Food, Service and accomodation. Will stay again in the future and would recommend it without reservation.
