A very nice find close to Gordes and Roussillon. We enjoyed a room with a balcony and beautiful view of the Luberon Valley. We appreciated the elegance of the hotel and staff. Highly recommend.

A truly wonderful hotel that also has a restaurant that serves tasty and beautifully presented local food with a quality wine list The Spa is clean and provides a outdoor Jacuzzi and barrel hot tub. The indoor steam room is one of the best I have been in. Overall a deserving 5 star rated property from me

Beautifully situated property close to village and with luxurious rooms and nice facilities, including 2 pools and spa. A couple glitches but overall great service and price seemed reasonable compared to other similar hotels

The first thing that comes to mind is the wonderful staff. Always attentive, present yet discrete, with a smile and trying their best to fulfil every wish. The food and attention to details comes next as a very strong positive. The location is great in a beautiful village, with many others located nearby. The grounds are convenient, well maintained (helipad, bocce court, nice view from the pool, sport area, tennis etc). Only negative is that the rooms which are designed to feel like an authentic Provence house are not up to current standards. They would be greatly improved with a lot more drawers and cupboards (could not unpack our suitcases), USB plugs near the beds, etc. And wifi repeaters should be installed throughout the property not only in the housing and pool areas

An excellent visit. Staff were extremely helpful and obliging. The lovely room that we had been allocated was a little way from the main hotel and I don't walk too well. We were instantly transferred to a beautiful room in the main building which I imagine was an upgrade but at no extra cost. Dinner, as one would expect and anticipate was delicious and we both commented that we were only surprised that it was not rated by Michelin as 2 star rather than one. We hope to revisit on our next trip into the area. Thanks to all

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had reserved two bedrooms and ended up in a vast house with a semi private pool a very large kitchen and living room as well as a gorgeous patio. The breakfast was excellent. The only problem was that the restaurant of the tHe hotel is a "restaurant gastronomique" and this is a bit limiting. The hotel does propose a good menu for room service and there are tons a options in the area. We were recommended to go to a beautiful restaurant with tables set under a very large platane tree (which used to have a treee house where dinner was served!). The food was excellent there. We will be back!

It is a great hotel. For US travelers it leaves something to be desired for it being a 5 star. Issues with Wifi, acceptable bathrooms, great terrace, great Michelin star restaurant. Le Phoebus makes up for their deficiencies in good service. In remote location, it delivers comfort but have no basis of comparison

They botched our reservation for the restaurant (I made it the night of our arrival for the following night and the following morning we were told we had no reservation). We finally got into the restaurant on our third night. The food was good (but not as good as we recalled from a visit 5 yrs ago). The service was not good.

This establishment's restaurant is no longer worthy of a star. Multiple faux pas: We were greeted skeptically with a claim that we failed to make a dinner reservation. We were shunted aside with aperitifs and ended up waiting 1.75 hours for a table, in spite of repeated assurances that our table would soon be ready. When I asked again when our table would be ready, the maitre d answered condescendingly that "in France we can show our own selves to the table and not the other way". (I replied that I had been to France on multiple occasions and had never been treated in this fashion.) The sommelier failed to pour our wine throughout the service. Once we were served desert a waiter nudged a glass of Beaume de Venice in my lap with absolute minimal apologies. The food was good. Quite good. Lamb served in a pastry, soupe pistou were the highlights. My advice: Either don't go at all, or go when on the day that the service staff has been paid and is perhaps in better humor. It's a shame that such good food and wine cannot be matched with the hospitality and service professionalism it deserves
