This is a great hotel to stay in on or road trip to Italy The room was super comfy and I had a great sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked. Service and food were excellent. I will definitely be back as we do this trip 2/3 times a year and I’m always on the lookout for a good overnight stay.

Extremely helpful from check in, at the restaurant and at breakfast. Food was well prepared and very tasty. Had a great nights sleep and the room was very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back as it’s on route when we are travelling to Italy.

Nice hotel—we highly recommend it and will definitely stop by again when driving through Switzerland again.

The room was lovely, bed excellent and staff very welcoming. But the room was facing the main road and, even given ear plugs, we got to sleep at 01.30am. The room was very warm so we had to leave the window open, as there was no fan or air conditioning. If you want to stay you must have a rear facing bedroom. This is our second stay and we had the same problem last time. Once bitten, twice shy.

We loved everything! The room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. The staff was great as was the breakfast. We ate diner there also and it was delicious. It was very reasonably priced and about one hour drive from the Zurich airport.

Travelling through Switzerland on our way to Italy and what a gem of a stay this was. They upgraded us on arrival and the room has a lovely sunny disposition. Slept well with our own duvets even though in a double bed. Breakfast as way better than we had imagined - delicious. Thanks for a great stay and for telling us about the local walk to the Chapel on the hill.

Beautiful hotel, very helpful and kind personnel. Special thanks to Edith, Peter and Suraya, for making our stay in Kappel so nice.The only negative point I can find is the noise of traffic. But to compensate that, we found nice earplugs next to our bed, in case we wanted to sleep with open windows.

Excellent and friendly staff, nice hotel in a convenient location

We chose this place for a night because it's fairly close to the autobahn. Expected a simply rural inn-style place; found a super-comfortable, spacey and quite high-tech place with comfy rooms, great breakfast, modern and stylish interior. The team was very helpful, guests are quite international. Free parking and very good free WIFI available. A small downside is that it's in the middle of nowhere, but there are a few places in walking distance where you can get food if you don't like the hotel's (good) selection. And there's the odd loud motorcycle in the middle of the night, so you may want to close windows or use earplugs (provided for free). Overall a great experience.

Fint hotel. Til den dyre side og meget dyr restaurant. Der er ikke så mange alternativer i byen til hotellets restaurant. Virkelig lækkert famile værelse og super morgenmad.
