First impression of the hotel was bad because the receptionist was quite rude. They messed up the booking and got my name wrong but offered no explanation, nor were they apologetic that I had to stand waiting for at least 15mins before keys were issued to me. Subsequently, they demanded a deposit of 500 thai baht without explanation and seemed to be impatient when I queried the reason for this reason. Sad hotel facilities as the gym was permanently closed and the swimming pool water had a funny smell and was quite murky. Overall hotel maintenance was abysmal. The hotel room itself was quite bad too as the toilet reeked of strong urine smell. The shower curtain was very mouldy, and because of the smelly toilet, we had to keep the toilet door closed at all times. There was limited hot water, and it was impossible to shower because of this. Breakfast was so so. The spread was limited and coffee was so diluted and tasteless. Don't bother buying breakfast, please eat elsewhere. Never returning to this hotel again.
