Very close to Nishiki Market and close to shopping centers, the place is also convenient and pleasant.

Strategic hostel in Kyoto, just walk about 10 minutes from Shijo Karawamachi station. They provide basic toiletries, the bed is cozy enough with tatami concept. Free water at common room with many brochure about attraction at Kyoto.

Clean, lots of toilets, plenty of shower room, slippers, hanger, and certainly a very pleasant stay at this hostel.

A hotel with satisfying facilities and also clean for the size of a relatively cheap price, very close to Nishiki market and Gion, so I can see the atmosphere of the old housing complex at night and during the day, I will stay again here to explore Kyoto.

Grids Kyoto is the most considering hostel I've experienced so far. I spent a night in a female dormitory and it was very impressive. The whole second floor is for girls only and It is inaccessible without key cards, I feel so safe staying in this place. The toilets and shower rooms are suitable for the number of people. They also provide a bath tub on the first floor and massage chair in the female living room. It was totally a pleasant night.

The receptionists speak fluently in English. In Japan, the check in time is 4 PM so you cant get in to your room before that, but you can make a tour by leaving tour bags or luggage to the receptionists. The surprise I get is that in my room I have bathtub and I can have "me" time after. So in love with this hotel 😍

I had a pleasant stay here. The hotel’s location is very very strategic, near to centre of Kyoto. The room are clean and neat.
