Properly is located in central area of London not far from main sights

Good value and a great breakfast. Bed was just OK -- these are dorm rooms, not built for old backpackers -- but kitchen on each floor area and a very good shower. The area is fascinating and within walking of many interesting and historic places. It's solid if you don't mind shared bath/hostel type spots. Staff is excellent

Good value for money. Fantastic continental breakfast. Very central near to all activities and transport.

Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are basic, but clean and towels and shower gel is provided. the shower again is basic, but clean and easy to use. The continental breakfast is very good, with fresh fruit, boiled egg and many other options. breakfast time is from 8 to 11. Not for early risers or leavers, but the time is generous. The location between near Holborn is ideal for a theater break. I was able to pop in before the performance to leave my day pack and just take what I need for a good night out. I loved that. All in All I had a very enjoyable stay and just wished that LSE High Holborn would be available not just in the summer holidays.

Such an affordable price for central London, never knew you could stay in University halls. Added bonus of a free buffet breakfast with twinings tea was really great. Negatives would be the heat in the bedroom was almost unbearable, had to have the fan on all night with the window open too. The lifts kept saying out of service so needed to walk up 5 flights of stairs too. The beds were also extremely hard but towels, shower gel and soap was provided. The shared toilet had a toilet seat that was broken on the 5th floor however you were about to use the toilets on the ground floor too. For the price you get what you pay for, I thought it as reasonable and we were a 7 min walk from the theatre.

Great budget friendly place to stay. Basic but comfortable rooms and great breakfast. My second time staying and I will definitely stay again.

Friendly environment

Doors slam very loudly and wake you up in the middle of the night. Very hot and stuffy rooms, and the fan provided only works during the day and not overnight. Uncomfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. I just feel very sorry for the students that will be paying hundreds a month for this.

It's okay overall for its price in central London. However the breakfast wasn't that great with limited selection. The bed is squeaky and the shared shower room isn't really convenient to use at all.

A very central location near Oxford Street / Tottenham Court Road. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms are student rooms so basic but comfortable- very good value for money

Excellent location for central London

It is very convenient, location wise and the staff are very friendly. Very close to Covent Garden, Oxford Street, British Museum, National Gallery, Leicester Square, Soho & China Town. A good budget accommodation for a day or two. One thing to watch out though. I had read a review that you would be provided one small towel. It was true. I stayed for 2 days and I had one small towel for 2 days. Overall, I think it is a good place for a short visit.

Nice place to stay if travelling solo and convenient as short walk to underground station. Only issue is that I didn’t like that the shower was shared as I had to leave my room and get dressed in the small space before going back. The toilet was also in a separate room. Towels were provided and there’s a sink in the room which is great! Overall a good stay, but shared bathroom put me off.

Great location, shared toilet/bathroom was an issue (not clean, toiletries left in shower etc), breakfast was a nice surprise, staff friendly. Lifts were a pain!

Fantastic budget option, great location, best continental breakfast I’ve seen in London, have seen places that charge twice as much be way stingier, options for everyone and really fresh fruit. Really nice it’s included in the price too. Cleaned to a high standard with towels provided, the only thing was that maintenance for a broken flush on the apartment toilet took a couple of days so had to use the main facility bathrooms while that was out.

LSE is student accomodation from mid September to mid July and is reasonable priced accomodation in central London in walking distance of all popular sites. Breakfast is plain with lots of fruit and choice of cereals, plenty of coffee and tea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only down side for me was the single bed, very narrow and the mattress was too soft. I would stay there again.
