Stayed for one night in room 9 with the ensuite as personally I wouldn't like going outside to the bathroom in winter. The guys welcomed me and showed me the facilities, where to store foods in the fridge etc. Great place to stay, just a stones throw from Hesse Street for shops. As I stayed in winter and was one of 3 guests it was ultra quiet. It does have a hostel type of vibe but that doesn't matter to me. Big sized kitchen with full amenities such as microwave, oven and dishwasher for use by guests. A fireplace inside could be used and an outside fire pit/drum too. BBQ, and 2 very efficient patio gas heaters for extra warmth. TV if you feel like watching something, Netflix included, in the lounge space. For someone who works when away I was really impressed with the WIFI connection. All in all a great stay. Would recommend.

This is great example of simple, clean and comfortable accommodation with communal areas that open the opportunity for incidental conversations and interactions that can enrich your stay. Loved the aquaponic tanks and nearby dive training facilities.

I had a great stay. Very good communication before arrival. Hannah very kindly upgraded my room. My room had a very very comfortable bed, a heater and bedside lamps. Everywhere was extremely clean. It is a 5 min walk from the bus stop and the bus also carries on to the ferry if you are catching that (or a 15 min walk). I highly recommend Cobb & Co!

Clean, well located. Staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the introductory tour about the history of the site. I loved my room, with its old feature wall and mood lighting. Kitchen and bathroom very clean.

Lovely staff. Good communal area but extremely noisy due to the location of our room in the communal area. Outside garden area needs some attention but overall we would book here again.

Out stay was comfortable but won’t stay with children again. Open door policy did not make me feel safe enough with children in toe. I also requested to use the pool and one staff meme we said yes and then when the pool was still covered over, my daughter went to ask and was told no. The property promotes indoor pool without any time restriction . We were requesting use around 3pm. On Friday night when all stove igniters we empty, 2 lots of groups struggled to get dinner on. Man upstairs was alerted and nothing was done about it. Further to the, I was unable to use my stovetop coffee making in the morning before heading away. Disappointing.

Very nice place to stay, more like a hostel with more space as it has a very lovey outdoor area with aquaponic tanks. The common room with kitchen very spacious and clean. Room was clean and access was easy. Walk to main street very close .

Good: reasonable price, good shared facilities, clean, quiet. Bad: No aircondition in room. One window falling apart. No insect nets mounted on windows, so keeping them open lets bugs in.

I booked the Cobb & Co not knowing it was a scuba-diving school as well as a backpackers place even though that was the case we had a clean room with an ensuite. The staff of brilliant and the location was close to everything in town

It’s an old but clean place our bedroom was clean and good for one night.

The welcoming staff member was very inviting, friendly, helpful and the room was accommodating, clean linen and comfortable beds. The ceiling fan and walls, however, were quite dusty. The common area was clean and inviting, amenities were old and tired looking, and need updating. The walls are very thin and we could hear the man snoring next door, and the other guests talking very loudly, very early in the morning, outside in the common area. The rooms are straight off the common area, not that obviously described when booking. I would recommend this place if you are going diving with the dive school but not if you are not. I thought it was too expensive for the what it was. The staff member, on leaving, was not engaging at all.
