Beautiful citadel

Lovely staff, very accomodating and brilliant location.

Ok for 2*. Had better stays for same price. Had to ask for a different room as the first one smelt awful. Second room better, but not great. Wouldn’t recommend as there are better places to be had for the money.

Basic, clean, functional hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. Staff are friendly enough, but I wouldn’t say are trained to the highest level of refined customer service.

Quiet

Claustrophobically small room. Impossible to have a shower without flooding the bathroom. It hasn’t been cleaned under the bed for a while. No AC but a ventilator. Friendly and healthful staff.

Ultra clean with new furniture. We were put in a room with a view of the citadel. Good location just out of the center and across the street from a public parking lot. I would stay here again.

Just stayed overnight. The hotel is very central and close to the Citadelle. Very helpful staff. If you have small car you can use their garage - we had a Volvo and it was too big so had to use the public parking in the square. Good value

Clean and quite tastefully modernised. Convenient location in Sisteron. Room was pretty small but ok for one night. The bathroom facilities were below average however. Aside from no complimentary toiletries, (not a huge problem), the 'shower' was just a tap mounted hose/showerhead affair in a bath, with no wall mounting or shower screen. There wasn't a bath plug either, so one couldn't effectively shower or bath. Not good enough really. View out the curtain-less bathroom window was fantastic though. Overall, clean but very basic.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The limited availability of reception staff was a bit of a surprise and the lack of coffee making facilities seemed unusual.

Nice clean hotel with great location. Only drawback was the sewer smell from the bathroom which cleaning products did not disguise and which permeated the bedroom. Perhaps to be expected in a small, high up village?

Very tight car park but staff were very friendly and helpful guiding us in and out. Centrally located. Room itself was basic but fine considering all things including price.

We had an accident with one of our 2 motorbikes the day before arrival. Therefore we had to cancel our order. That was not possible! The hotel did not answer to hotels.com, and neither to me. Not on email, nor telephone! Very bad service - not recommendable, alas!😡 Hotels.com however, did what they could (is my impression)
