Fantastic Holiday Park in close proximity to Auckland, we return here every time. Absolutely LOVE their pools - they drain them every day, clean and tidy facilities, yet simple and all you need for a family break. Thank you Peter and the team - we LOVE your work and service is always superb!

We had a smell of glue because of a plumbing issue however the staff were just lovely about it. Couldn't recommend staying here highly enough.

The facilities are so nice and clean, children loved the hot pools, trampoline and go carts, they had so much fun they want to return. Met some lovely fellow campers there. Staff were very nice.

This is a hidden treasure! Room/cabin was clean comfortable and full of amenities unusual for this kind of setting. Beautiful surroundings of you like quiet, rural water views and hotpools. The staff goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you need! Highly recommend a stay here. We'll be coming back!

Often you get what you get pay for and when you travel with your family, saving a penny and finding something suitable is the challenge! Athenree was 100% value for money, family friendly, way better than expected and clean as a whistle. Hot pools were great, beautiful walks and even a stingray to watch in the water with my morning coffee. Definitely one of the better, if not best places we have stayed, spotless and friendly and some pleasantly surprising and innovative little add on's and in's.

We loved our stay, the cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Great welcome from the staff, fantastic place to stay, the hot pools were so relaxing. We are looking forward to booking again soon.

The hot pools alone are a great reason to stay here! Do note that some of the accommodations do not include bedding. We ended up upgraded to a 2 bedroom cabin with kitchen and private washroom which did have bedding and towels. Park was well kept with laundry available.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The hot springs were great and the staff was very professional and friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was a studio apartment. The park is located right on a bay and it was very pretty.
