convenient location, very close to the city center and entertainment spots. the downside is that the toilet only has 1 room for more than 10 people, the bathroom is small and the water flow is weak. the staff is quite friendly but I had to check in and check out by myself. there is free water, tea and coffee but no microwave to heat food so I had to eat outside the whole time. Best suited for those who only rent to sleep and hang out all day

Great option for shared-room hostel compared to others. Super recommended. What I like the most is they have private area below the bunkbed for changing clothes, work, packing, even praying for muslim; which is usually not provided in other shared-room hostel. The communal living room is very comfortable. Coffee, tea, water dispenser, refrigerator, charging spot are available. They even provide shoe fragrance! Location is very strategic. Bus stop and MRT within 5-7 min walking. The minus is their bathroom is small and cramped. And I need to wait some time for the room to be ready after check-in although I came at 7pm (room should have been ready by noon)

I stayed 2 nights because the hotel location is good, it's just a shame that when checking out I was required to pay a fine for stains on the towels which were only a little gray, for example because of dust, etc. This should be the hotel's responsibility because it can be washed and of course it is part of the hotel's facilities. So it is very likely that I will not return to this hotel again because there are still other hotels that are still reasonable in their treatment. Thx

Room was okay, separated by thick curtains. There were personal storage area inside the room. Common facilities were acceptable. Main concern related to bathroom & restroom which were too cramped.

Super very kind receptionist, she was welcoming to bring 2 kids 13yo&12yo stay this dormitory mix. We are family totally 4person: myhusband, me, 2 kids. Strategic location, AC wifi always stability, cleanliness is good, all day drink and complete simple kitchen with cococrunch bread and others ❤️

Location is great, there are many food around 24 hours. The hostel serve free breakfast, and free coffee/tea anytime. The receptionist is very kind. Room is clean. Very nice place!

I quite enjoyed my stay at hipstercity. Pro: - Check in process was super easy via the link they sent prior to my arrival. When I reached the place, I just had to provide my credit card for deposit (they didn't charge anything tho). - Jason, the receptionist, was really friendly and welcoming. - Their interior design was fun and cozy. - The bed and pillows were comfortable. - love their attention to details. Cons: - There were only 2 showers on my floor and 1 toilet and there were quite a lot of guests on my floor. I had to wait for a while in the morning to take a shower. - There were some stains on my towels. - There was a guy who was only in his towel. It made me feel really uncomfortable. The hostel has provided a robe and asked guests to wear it before and after taking a shower, tho. - The said robe was pretty small. I think they need to provide a larger size. Will I recommend this place? Yes, I will. Will I return? Yes, if I can't afford a private hotel room.

We enjoyed the time while staying at HipsterCity. I chose this because of the location. Near to buses and MRT station. Walking distance to various food and stroll along Clarke Quay. The staffs were fabulous. Helpful and friendly. Hope to stay here again for our next visit.
