The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the service is very good, fast and friendly, the hotel is clean, the atmosphere is all good, will stay here again.

1. Parking hard to find. Around 1 hour took time to get the parking. Imagine parking sharing between sunway piramid, lagoon & hotel. Too crowded. 2. Receptionist, pls smile to guests. You are front liner of hotel. 3. During morning breakfast, our booking found not entitled to get free breakfast. After a few minutes, staff allowed us to enter the cafe. Weird, I bought room together with breakfast. That night asked the receptionist, the way he responded not so nice. Should be more rilex & smile to customer. A bit disappointed. 4. Room okay. No issue. Repeat : No

What started as a simple, last-minute one-night stay turned into an absolute plot twist! We booked a night at Sunway Lagoon Hotel (formerly known as Sunway Clio Hotel) via Traveloka—nothing fancy, just a budget-friendly stay. For those unfamiliar, Bandar Sunway has three hotels catering to different budgets, and naturally, we went for the most economical option. But fate had other plans. Upon arrival, we were greeted with news of a system issue. Just as we braced ourselves for the worst, the staff casually informed us that they’d be upgrading us—for free—to their 5-star Sunway Resort Hotel! And not just any upgrade—they gave us a Club Executive Room! Excuse us while we pick our jaws off the floor. To top it off, they even arranged for a shuttle to take us there (even though it’s literally just nearby, talk about VIP treatment). And the room? Luxurious beyond expectations. Even the toothpaste comes in pill form. Jakun mode: activated. The only downside? It’s just for one night before we move to the city. But hey, what a ride!

The woman at the reception is very friendly and helpful, helping me upgrade to a park view room and late check-out. Overall, the staff is very pleasant. The room is very nice and clean. The buffet breakfast is delicious. The lift area is so nice also. Surely will stay here again next time.

The entrance of Sunway is a little bit confusing for the driver. A tip for the next travelers, the location is after Sunway Mall, the last one (after orange entrance).
