The hotel was above expectations. Exceptional staff on Reception and in the Breakfast Room. The bedroom was superb with the en-suite having extra additions such as the make up mirror. The location is excellent as situated ten minutes from the railway station and five minutes to the walled city. Thank you for a great stay.

Met by Sonia in reception who was just so very helpful. Hotel provided us with bikes to explore the town. Such fun. Then Ricardo helped us get tickets to the Puccini concert in the San Giovanni. We loved Lucca and it was in no small part owing to the lovely people we met in the hotel and in the city.

This is a fantastic, small modern hotel. It is right across the street from an entrance to the walled city and has great on site parking. The staff is so nice and service simply excellent. If you are looking for a great place as base to see Lucca and the surrounding area and want modern charming accommodations, you should stay here.

The room was quiet and clean. The staff were excellent to deal with. Very good location for looking at Luca.

All the reception, cleaning and breakfast staff were exceptional. The only thing that spoilt the stay was the area which was beyond the control of the hotel. There was a noisy club next door and on one night there football celebrations with fireworks that would equal Disneyland set off in the street and car horns that lasted 3 hours. But was beyond the control of the hotel

Great location. Very helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and offered speciality coffee. Small room, but it was clean and I was just there to sleep. Bed mattress is very, very firm. I would stay here again.

I thought that the spa offering was both unique and a nice vip offering. I said no to the offering prior as I did not get an up graded room. I did request a different room because of the steps and we had told them before that we could not lug the luggage up more steps. They did move us to an end room but it was not any different than the one we had aside from the no steps needed to enter the room from the hall.

We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Celide. The staff was friendly and a great help in setting us up with bikes that we were able to use for the full day to ride around the city. We were grateful to be able to check in at the last minute after having to leave a awful hotel that we were originally booked in by Travelodeals.

A great place for a couple of nights, clean room and nice breakfast with a good cold buffet including gluten-free items. We didn’t have an opportunity to try the spa (closed on Sundays) or roof terrace but had a large room that was very comfortable.

Albergo Celide is a lovely place to spend your Lucca vacation. It's comfortable and quite with wonderful breakfast and nice spa. It's moments away by foot from the entrance to the walled city. Anna was delightful and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She even booked two dinner reservations for us.

It was close to train which was nice but nothing around it. 15 minutes from center on other side of wall

Enjoyed being close to the city walls.
